I think Allan has ability but I am worried were signing someone we don't need for the wrong reasons, we should be looking to build on our weaknesses IMO and his position certainly isn't our weak spot, I actually quite like him but can I see him playing ahead of Commons? Johansen ? even Rogic ? I find it a bit underwhelming in truth I wish we would keep digging into the sort of market that found us Bitton,Van Dijk, Johansen rather than nicking our own home grown talent for buttons.

 

What else is happening in the Celtic world other than this at this moment in time? It's the only thing to talk about :smiley-laughing002:

I am a great fan of Scott Brown as my avatar suggests. But I have not been so excited about a Celtic signing like Allan since Broony signed.

I think Allan has the potential to be even better than Brown, pound for pound.

 

Pretty sure he wasn't signed to annoy anyone,Ronny has seen potential and at 275k it's a minimal risk

He just completed his Medical as well and should be announced later today according to some News Papers

 

We are missing a creative outlet in the team, there's no doubt about that at all. But is Scott Allan that jigsaw piece to the puzzle? Will he be able unlock defenses in Europe? I think not.

I'm all signing Scottish talent, but I'm not for signing Scottish talent for the sake of it, especially if they won't be taking us to the next level.
