As much as I don't want this, got to admit it's pretty funny.

He is less of a gamble at 275k if he makes it ,happy days and could eventually punt him for a few million profit,if he doesn't ,move him on without much loss.

Seems a fair punt to me,player of the year albeit in a lower league, just because a player has a price tag of 2 mil doesn't make him better or have more potential, they may be proven at a higher level but you can't put a price onpotential,we have to wait and see on that one. risk to reward

Half correct, medical and results been there before BBC revealed their inaccurate piece.......but they are correct in that it will be concluded by close of business today.

My new big pal will confirm this as told him this before BBC made up thier half baked story :smiley-laughing002:

Henderson if he goes is good if it gives him game time which RD doesn't believe he will - which RD clearly thinks is the case. Rather him playing than sitting on bench or in stand buddy.

TBag - youll mind the thread I started this week on main forum about players to Hibs on loan and a few laughed and wanted it closed lol

    Scott Allan is magic
    he wears a magic hat.
He could have went to Sevco
but no he said * that.
He's going to play in Europe
    he's Celtic till he dies.
    When Sevco get promoted
    he'll be 55.

Agree with our board wanting them up as a said that myself in another thread David. Football is a business after all and our board are greedy wee *.

But this Allan deal has got me questioning it. As the board know fine well if Newco signed Allan they'd really strengthen there team and at the same time really weakening there closest challengers.

But we've snapped him up instead while giving Hibs two good players in Henderson and McGeough. Maybe our board are enjoying themselves watching those smelly * down there in division 1 after all and not giving a * whether they come up or not.

We don't need Sevco in the top flight for us to survive. We've shown that the last 3 years.

This. Allan is comfortably he better player.

At the end of the day lads, he's 23, he's costing £275k and he's Scottish. I'm absolutely baffled at the outrage shown by some on here. It's not as if we're signing this guy in the hope he can drag us to victory against Real Madrid if we make the CL groups.

Personally, I can't see anything other than them winning the league this year. That's regardless of how many players we give Hibs that aren't good enough for us or fringe players, I think the board will see it the same way and they very much DO want them up.

Good bit of business although he won't bring anything more to the team, good squad player.

If he has a couple of decent seasons we could probably command a fee of around 1mil or so and that would cover the transfer fee and 2 years wages.

All in all not a bad signing.

For me personally it's more about the fact that we seem set on signing no one who can actually compete at the Champions League level, never mind drag us to victory against Real Madrid.

We're currently going into Europe with a strikforce of Griffiths, Ciftci and scepovic and we're * around signing guys from the Championship.
