    Maybe?

-Maybe but I still think he Allan will go along a similar path, especially if he does not make it with us. Oft to Canada, then oft to the might Sevco!!!!:56:Maybe Dave King will be in with his millions just after the medical.
Maybe he is going to dae a Mo Jo-pretend he is coming to us then move to them.
    TBF - no bothered!!!:50:

    * actually celebrating signing a player that Rangers want and almost got. We should be aiming to sign players a good few levels above Scott Allan * sake.

Ffs the article clearly states that the insurers will be paying the compensation.

Anyone who has car insurance has indemnity insurance.

Aye, but anybody who is found liable under investigation still has to "recompensate" the insurance company.

All big clubs sign good young players from lower divisions. Yes a know hes not that young but 24 is still young'ish. A good player with loads more potential to unleash.

He may never reach his full potential but for only 300k which is pennies to us then its easily worth the risk. While at the same time slapping the Newco is the face:smiley-laughing002:

Oh , can you show me that ?

The fact he had valid car insurance covers him for the liability, even if he was * at the wheel :50:

I think it could be quite a shrewd signing. It's clearly not a marquee signing but they can't all be.
He clearly must have something about him to win the POTY. He's reasonably young too and well talked up by people in football.
I want competition in the squad and if he'll push the other midfielders to up their game, all the better.

Better than what we have though? I have a feeling that if we'd signed a player of similar ability and for the same money that didn't have a tenuous link to the huns we'd not be quite as pleased about it.

He's not really young, that's just something people say about Scottish players in their 20s who haven't achieved much.

He's only a few months younger than Van Dijk and Johansen, and look how much more developed they are as players.

Who else won the first division player of the year? Say for the last five years.

Dissapointed in this to be honest. Would rather Henderson got whatever playing time Allan is going to get. In saying that if he sits on the bench all year and Henderson is playing every week for Hibs then that should allow Henderson to progress while ensuring we still have cover for injuries.

We have plenty good players. I want players that can take us to the next level. Scott Allan isn't that player.

But Henderson... as far as I'm concerned hasn't impressed me at all. Always said that, he'll fall away eventually.

Different to what we have. Either way people are thinking negatively about it because he plays in the championship.

    Agreed to an extent.

Don't think he'll ever be a regular here.
