    Thanks mate.

Has anyone watched the first division last year? Was SA better than Mcgeouch by that much? Ok, maybe they play different positions but I'd hate to buy him, just out of spite.

I'd rather give Henderson more of a run.

Not impressed by him at all, and I've saw a fair bit of him. Hopefully he'll prove me wrong, but I can see him not getting much game time going to some team in Championship or lower and then heading back up to Rangers (who will be still trying to get out the Championship. :D ).

Good deal for us. Obviously it's a gamble but for the money involved it's a small risk. McGeough was done here and Henderson should get a season on regular football under his belt.

BBCScotlandSport claiming £275k has been agreed, with McGeouch moving permanently to Hibs, and Henderson also moving on loan.

A few injuries have come about from the work put in pre-season. It maybe means we maybe do need a creative player in midfield.

Put it this way, i don't think signing Alan weakens the side and i don't think he necessarily comes in as a squad player either. It'll depend on results.

Might take him some time to settle, might struggle with the pace of the system, but he can improve here quicker, facing tougher opposition travelling the world playing football.

Are we doing this as a wind up to Spivco? Honestly, the boy is good but do we need him, really?

Our squad is always bloated, we still have to move a few on but to take Allan, jesus.

Pointless when we have our own lads.

Moving on players of equal or better quality to let a zombie ride the bench.

    * is going on here.

Don't understand a lot of people's problem with this deal, I think it's an excellent deal. Was Paul lambert not a Rangers man?

Who gives a * what he is or who he supports- its like bitton, i dont hear to much about the IDF now hes one of our best players. If the lad comes here he will get my full backing. To be far its a good deal all round- we get the championship player of the year who the manager rates, mcgeouch gets a transfer, henderson gets a season under his belt and we wind up sevco no end.

Ronny obviously thinks Allan has more to offer just now than Henderson and McGeough. McGeough's time here has been up for a while and Henderson needs game time so a loan move makes sense.

Also, what the * does it matter what team he grew up supporting? He's rejected a move to Rangers twice already in his career, I'd imagine he's not the die-hard Rangers fan the media and some of their knuckle-draggers would have us believe. Have we forgotten that our current club captain grew up supporting Rangers? Kenny Miller was one of them before he was one of us but I can still hear the roar that went up when he put one past them at Celtic Park, we didn't care then so why should be we care now?

If Ronny & Co thinks he's good enough for Celtic then we should be supporting him. Some of the bile that's been posted on here since this rumour was posted has been * terrible :38:

This is just so uninspiring. Don't see the point in it.

It's nothing to do with who he supports - I couldn't give a toss. It's just pointless.

I, like many others, do not rate him that highly. He's good but we have much of the same anyway and I'd rather give our lads a chance.

It does come across as getting one over on them.

Obviously it'l be wrong, I don't know or believe our club leaders act in that fashion. This does have the markings of a Ronny signing but it's just much of a muchness player wise.

Good for Hibs mind. Helps out a fellow Celt in Stubbs too.

Just not inspired by it and it's starting to sum up our transfer windows.

Edit: Jesus, I am becoming a wee greetin' faced tadger. :54:

Tbf it's not a bad move for Henderson, Ronny obviously feels he's not ready to make an impact with us yet.
