    Possibility of it being Mcgreggor and McGeouch rather than Henderson.

    I just can't see where he will fit in though.

    For me he plays similarly to Commons off the ball, he doesn't put in much effort - usually uses his energy on the ball to dribble and go on runs and attempt to open teams up but off the ball he walks around. Nothing like how Johansen and Armstrong play who shut players down a lot and are very fit and hardworking players who Ronny usually plays in the hole - so he's probably not going to play there primarily anyway.

    His lack of much defensive ability too or discipline to sit back or just the legs and energy to attack the way he likes but also keep getting back means he probably won't play in the middle 2 either.

    That only leaves the two wide areas, maybe Ronny see's him as a replacement for Stokes as competition on the left with Armstrong and that will be his main position and he'll be used as a back up in other areas. As Forrest, GMS and Commons all play better on the right than the left.

    Hard to see where he will play for me.

    £300k for a bench warmer is decent tbh. Need strength in depth to challenge for the treble and in Europe.

    I just don't like us signing williamites tho...

    Gut feeling is Allan has what it takes to be an automatic pick for us in the near future. How we go with Malmo will also have a huge bearing on it.

    I think he could do well given the chance, & Ronny can help make him a better player. As some before me have mentioned, many Celtic Greats initially supported those scumbags.

    (Disclaimer- I'm not claiming he will become a Celtic Great)

    At the end of the day, it's a low risk signing & Hendo will benefit from first team football this season.

    Can't comment on those as I wasn't around at the time. I'm just saying that I don't think it's ridiculous to be adverse to signing a player because he's a Hun. Especially considering he's not exactly marquee.

    Carry on :icon_mrgreen:

    The fact that we are actually in competition with * sevco, a brand new club with no history amd no money, stuck in the 2nd tier, says everything about this target...

    * embarrassing.

    He's nowhere near the level we already have.

    Joke

    :fear::fear::fear:

    :smiley-laughing002: but aye seriously, I don't really want him and have honestly never rated him. However, if does sign he'll get my full support like any signing would. Couldn't care less what team he supports or who he's pals with.

    Not the level we have now, but he sure has potential to be molded into a talent. And it's at a low risk fee.
    My only concern is were already heavily numbered in the attacking mid role, and I hope Allen is happy playing in the Bitton/brown position as Johansen being pushed back is useless.
    And to those of you worried he's a rangers fan, grow up. If he's a rangers fan who's prepared to play for celtic because he knows were the better option at the moment, then we should * welcome him!
    And if he doesn't make the team, I'm sure he can pop down the tattoo shop with Broonie
