He won't walk into the side as we have very few players that do.

He will be a quality player for Celtic though IMO, I have very little doubts about that.

I raved about him every time I seen him, he tore the newco a new * on numerous occasions last season. People seem to have forgotten that fact because of their public pursuit of the guy with ten gingy bottles.

That is incomparable and it was a long time ago.
Allan plyed his trade in England too. He is a big time player like Broony.
    He will raise his game.

He didn't start against rangers? This is a hilarious transfer, but he won't be anywhere near the team and will never be. Henderson, yes, a diff position, is better than him. I also don't see what good it will do Henderson playing against Championship opposition. He's better than that.

I tend to agree with you although we should pause for a moment and remember Craig Gordon. The zombies wanted him and we stole him at the last minute. He's been great. So what you're saying isn't a universal truth.

In general I agree with you though. If the zombies are looking to sign a player while they're still in the Championship then that player is more than likely not of a standard that will be much use to us in Europe. We don't need Scott Allan to continue our domestic dominance.

I'm just going to put my cards on the table. Apart from the fact I don't think he's anything special as a player, I don't want him at Parkhead because he supports them. I'd rather Celtic's team was a zombie free zone. That's just my own personal view.

    Relax man :celt_2:

    1. He isn't our 'big signing' to help spur us on through our qualifier vs Malmo. It's too late for a signing to help us through that game, imo.

    2. He is a good footballer. He'd have been Sevco's best ever signing by a distance, barring maybe Vuckic who they raved about. We're not signing absolute dross just to * off the orcs.

    3. It will * off the orcs and it will be * hilarious

    4. We're getting rid of deadwood - Dylan McGeouch

    5. Liam Henderson looks to be going somewhere where he will get consistent first team football for a season.

    6. We have no appropriate replacement for the position Scott Brown plays, in my opinion. Maybe Allan can prove to be a pretty good back up to Brown.

    7. He's costing less than £300k. It's no risk.

Think for a second at what you are saying.

Ronny Deila is buying a player he has no intention of playing. Do you believe that or do you know how stupid it sounds?

He'll have plenty of chances at Celtic and IMO he'll take them.

What a shocking attitude to have for a supporter of a Club that's entire existence promotes inclusiveness.

Many Celtic greats supported other sides, Rangers included. It does not matter in the slightest and if it does to anyone then that's their own simple minded, backwards, problem.

No, I don't believe it, but is he as good as Johansen? Commons? Armstrong? Literally miles behind all of them. I can't see him playing in important games any time soon. He'll do what Rogic is doing now. Sitting on the bench and playing against * teams when our decent players need rested. Imagine we get into the group stages. He's nowhere near ready for top level European football. His team came 2nd in the Championship last season...to Hearts...by a long shot. That has to have some sort of reflection on him.
