Provides a lot more than Armstrong if you ask me, much better vision and control in Midfield, and has an eye for a pass, hope this is just a loan and he will come back ready to claim a place after a cracking season.

    Yep. Especially the last bit.

He just wasted too many years of his career early and left no enough time to develop mentally and iron out weaker areas in his game and now he's approaching what should be his peak years with barely any football played. Be different if he was still 20-21, then I'd still have very high hopes for him.

Think how much Tierney for example will have learned from competitive match exposure by the time he is 21-22. Makes all the difference.

Rotherham or otherwise he won't be back, will prob make a career down there in the championship.

Forrest contributes much more to the first team though than Allan.

Ideally we get shot of the players who aren't good enough for the squad and bring players in that will relegate the likes of Forrest, Armstrong to the bench.

Then next year we try and get better in again and relegate this season first teamers to the bench and move on the ones not making the squad.

In a perfect world, that is.

That's because manager after manager played this non-event. Allan hardly got a lookin and considering the absolute * that occupies the centre of midfield doesn't highlight his problem but that of the person picking the team
