Scott Allan

  1. 90% of the time seems like an exaggeration.

He's a creative midfielder, I want my creative midfielders to not be afraid to try the killer pass. If he gives the ball away a few times trying it then so be it. Sooner or later his passes are going to start creating chances. He just needs to get on the same wavelength as the players in front of him, or for them to get on his wavelength. Whichever the case may be.

The player Brendan likes playing in that role is the best passer in the team. The stevie Gerard type of player.

    More brain than Braun

  3. Good luck to the boy getting on the same wavelength as Shifty!!! Will definitely benefit from being in the same team as Griffiths because his moves is much much better and is miles quicker in thought than Shifty.

Well if its an exaggeration can you tell me the last time he split a defence with this so called killer ball, even when he was at Hibs he was tidy and neat but the only game i remember seeing him stand out was a semi final against Falkirk, there was times today his passing was * shocking but fair do's he done well for the goal even if he did carry some luck

  5. Today :fear:

  6. He was absolutely outrageous for Hibs that season . Every game I watched them ( 6 or 7 times ) he honestly looked like a man playing against boys. Won POTY in that division despite Hearts strolling to the league title and the huns being in there aswell.

Your stretching it big time, if he really was that good then Hibs would have won the league and he wouldn't be at us

What a lay off after he made a * of a shot :smiley-laughing002:

  9. It was good defending, and then Scotty showed us that composure and quick feet. Did you see it or blink? :bbpd:

He fluffed his shot which came back aff the defender, i will give him that he had the presence of mind to lay it off but hardly a killer pass ffs :smiley-laughing002:

  11. Brilliant bit of play, in my unbiased opinion :bbpd:

    Your taking the * now :97: :smiley-laughing002:

  13. In all fairness we've had plenty of players who would have just tried to smash in the rebound as opposed to picking his head up and finding a man

  14. Glad it's no just my eye's :rolleyes::icon_mrgreen:

  15. No , I am absolutely not. That is why i and many others were discussing him in the suggestions thread on here after every televised Hibs match . He was a complete standout , I wont argue the toss all day about it thats the way it was .

And that was my point and gave him credit for it, but * me it was not a killer pass it was a lay off

Why cause you say so, if he was that good ask yourself why Hibs finished third and it was only the huns in for him with us hijacking it at the death, he is an average * player who is 25 and probably all the player he is ever going to be

  18. There were a few moments today where Allan and Christie played some really intelligent passes through the Sturm defence and had Ciftci been on his bike then they would have been killer passes. he retained possession well and can only improve under rodgers. the team certainly lost its attacking threat when Allan, Christie and Bitton went off

No Allan gave the ball away atleast 5/6 times today with basic passes, as i have said i dont get the * hype he is average and we could do far better

  20. As did Christie, Johansen, Bitton and Henderson

I'm not suggesting Allan is a player to build the team around, however he is a good back-up player to Rogic and Christie who I believe should be starting in that CAM role. I also think that he would be a good option to have coming off the bench against teams who are sitting back and trying to grind out a 0-0, which I predict will happen a lot this season
