I have to say that I tend to agree with the manager not having input in this signing. It's just my opinion but my spider senses are tingling on this one. Also I agree with Regi above he just needs to bide his time as a fresh start is on the horizon.

 

Rogic is so * when compared to Allan.

 

I agree. I'm the first to admit that i'm not a Rogic man and that I like Allan's style. Rogic though is somewhat proven for us against lower SPFL teams and Allan is not. That is a consequence of Rogic being handed a place (undeservedly imo) but he still was decent in some games and deserves some recognition for this. Do I think Allan could do the same? Yes I do but I dont want to see anyone handed a place over better options. Currently McGregor looks to be claiming a place in there and deserves to stay and if we are to play a pure 10 then it has to be Commons.

 

Personally think that Rogic would suit a team like Aberdeen more than us to be honest. That's his level.

 

I've not seen enough of Allan to say he's better than Rogic.

Definitely a great eye for a pass but Rogic has a great ability to just glide past players with quick feet.

There's obviously more to both their game than what I stated :icon_mrgreen:

The * are folk on? Rogic was one our best players first half of the season, exciting and made things happen keeping a few players out the team. A few sub appearances doesn't make Allan a better player, we need to see him given a run in the team to see what he can do.

 

Totally agree. Rogic has had a very good season. Think he's got 6 or 7 goals and 5 or 6 assists in 20 odd games. A good return for a guy that has had a rough time of it with injuries. Not the most physical of players but has a brilliant touch and makes space. Don't know how people can overlook him so easily in favour of Allan. By all accounts, he has not had a lot of game time and would like to see more of him. Has shown a few flashes of the killer pass and creativity but for some to say they don't rate rogic and would have Allan over him based on his performances for us so far is bizarre.

No. I honestly don't think any of the two of them are in the same class as Commons, Nakamura, Johansen, Maloney etc. Do you?

These two are still at a developing age and need time and a good run in the team.

 

Johansen? He's been worse than Rogic by far! Would go as far to say Allan too despite only a handful of games.

 

Probably a load of baws but I work with Andy Halliday's brother in law, supposedly Allan's said he's been told he's got 6 months to find himself a new club and he'll be away in the summer, Allan has allegedly said he'd look down south then in a year or two move to the Huns, can't see it for several reasons but I thought I'd share anyway
