had a chance to show the manager he should be starting. Didn't do anything in the match. Disappointing. He'll prob be benched now for Armshit.

Yes and I agree to a point but to call him Armshit is just down right disrespectful.

It is very difficult to shine when the whole midfield was diabolical last night and nobody is making a run for you to pass too ?

He was as poor as anyone else but played out of position yet again by the manager

People keep saying he is played out of position but when he first signed for Celtic and done his press conference he stated that he likes to "cut in from the left or right behind the striker" and said he can play any position behind the striker. So I don't think that's the issue.

He was poor last night, his corners were bad, he kept giving the ball away, but he was not the worst on the park.

Will give him more time before I write him off, but I just can't see him doing much here. Hope to be proved wrong.

I never wanted him in the first place and don't really get the clamour among our fans to play him. That being said, I think he was pretty willing up against a tough set of circumstances last night and it would be harsh to judge him on that. He should get a run of games and not be benched straight away for Armstrong (or whoever)

This is what it looked like to me. It was a very unfortunate game to make a start as the whole team near were awful.

The final third seemed to be empty whenever we came forward. So it wasn't just Allan who didn't find a killer pass, Commons came close with a great ball to GMS but he was offside. That was basically it I think. Was it Tierney who got the ball through to GMS when he should have scored?

The less said about his corners the better but I swear he's taken them before and they were whipped in with venom to the danger area.

Again, Commons was having trouble crossing too.

Next game I want to see Allan play with greater license to roam inside and make things happen around the penalty area. That is where the action is and where his talents are most effective as we've seen over the season but were especially impressive when he was combining with Roberts.

That team would get humped silly. The attacking options are rank.

3 in midfield, solid as a rock.

Stokes, Griff, and Commons are the best three attackers in Scotland you winner.

I dont get why every player we have with a left foot is shunted to play left wing, it started with lennon and has now continued with clueless, why not for once play the guy in his right * position

The holier than thou act among some on here is getting really tedious. He called him Armshit because he's been playing poorly for months - no need for the mock outrage .

I don't think Allan is that good tbh the kind of guy who will soon become a whipping boy similar to GMS and Stretch when he gets a run of games

He has big weaknesses to his game but he has some absolute outstanding abilities, mainly his passing and vision. You need your teammates to balance out your weaknesses and to build a team that uses these abilities to their fullest.

It's not something we really do just now.

Johansen and Rogic are the problem both of them can only really play in the CAM role and Rogic is probably more deserving of the place so Allan will get shifted out wide
