He still has things he has to improve on but I agree with everyone else, he now deserves a start.

The things he can improve on will be trained into him, but his natural ability is what will make him a great player, if given the chance. His touch and vision are first class.

I think this is really important for him to continue and develop if he is to become a regular. He definitely has vision, weight of pass and creativity, but we need the defensive side too.

Deserves his chance. Quite shocking how little game time he's had.

I agree however I think Allan suits it more. He can easily interchange if the likes of Christie and Roberts are in there, we saw that today.

I would like to see him in that pairing also. Surely we don't need to two defensive minded midfielders for the majority of spfl game. I think he could dictate the game and pull the strings from that position with his passing, and one of the others shielding him. It would be much better than Brown and Bittons side to side, crab passes all day long.

Brown and Biton are two of our best and most important players , and will be hugely important for us moving forward. They have both had a couple of off games but it's nothing major lets not get carried away .

    Who is getting carried away?

I don't see the need for us to play two defensive minded midfielders against the majority of the spfl sides. I don't think they add much to the team going forward.

I think Allan would add another dimension to our play, he played that role for hibs and done it well. I don't think it would do is any harm to give him a run in the side.

Amazing the style of football he comes on with. Will he finally get a start Friday? He'll be in most of the match thread teams :smiley-laughing002:

Already mentioned in another post, his understanding with Roberts looks very promising indeed. That could be some quality football. Makes the rest of the team play better. Rogic and Commons would thrive on it. Hope I'm not getting over excited, really was some nice football we started playing when they came on. I don't expect fireworks every game from them, just keeping things simple is attractive football if it's effective. The fact that Allan is willing to attempt passes other wouldn't even see nevermind attempt is brilliant. They don't always come off but they encourage imaginative movement and totally freak out defenders as they don't like unpredictable play.

Does anyone know if he starts and finishes the Development Squad games? I'm wondering if he's always used as a sub or if he does play whole games it's a good sign we'll see a lot more of him.

Christie was excellent too but he's more central isn't he? A couple players ahead of him at least for now. Great sub though and potential.

His passing is just different gravy. It doesn't always have to be the defence splitters either but through ball's like earlier to Tierney in bundles of space..

I really don't get those who don't rate or acknowledge his impact. Surely we're unanimous that he deserves a run?
