Consistency is part of what determines a players level in my opinion. There are plenty of guys out there with the skill to be better than they are but they lack other qualities required.

He must be bewildered, canny even get a start at home to Partick Thistle or against anycunt really while * are playing pish week in week out, Armstrong injured, Commons no kicked a ball in month Rogic subbed off, McGregor getting games and him sitting scratching his *.

Waste a time signing him if hes no getting near a game

    I know.

"Let's take our time signing Allan and Cole and never play them!"

I still think he was signed by PL to appease the Celtic support by "winding up the huns".

He's barely kicked a ball for us. Saying that he hasn't shown much promise. Rogic is playing better than him just now.

Allan said himself it would be December/January before he's ready yet people are perplexed he isn't playing?

He'll get his chances and it won't be to appease some peoples * to see more of him. It'll be when his entire game has adjusted to a side that needs to win every game it plays.

Obviously Ronny doesn't think he is ready from what he has seen in training, you can't just play player's that are not doing in in training.

People are in danger of talking him up so much, that they will be disappointed.

He'll get his chance. You'd think Ronny is not playing him just to * people off, listening to some. :smiley-laughing002:

Agree he was a fan pleaser as the Huns were interested. Quite clear there is no intention of working him into the team.

Shame as I think he would offer a lot of given a run of games.

Talented Lad, no doubt but he cost £275k, a pittance in today's market. We've done our usual of paying a 'nothing to lose' fee and if it doesn't work out no doubt we will ship him out. Another project that may/may not work out. Years go by but nothing changes. Hope I'm wrong.

Must be given a chance to provide some much needed spark in the final 3rd.

    Bollocks.

He's started two games I think and came on as a sub maybe 3 times. He might not be ready to start every game or every second game but he should be playing far more than he has.

Particularly when you see how * we have been lately.

It shouldn't take 4 months to get fit.

It wasn't just match fitness, of which he'll still be short of anyway.

My worry with Allan is that Deila wants to try and integrate him more when we're 3 or 4-0 ahead in games.

However, the problem is because we're *, we rarely do that anymore. Time to just throw him on for a few games to build up the fitness, looks a real talent.

With Brown injured, Bitton suspended and possibly Armstrong injured or unfit, if he doesnt start the next match it's clearly the case that Ronny has something against him.

He really should be starting games, he's got the talent. It's annoying that he hasn't been.

‘I was out for six weeks so my momentum kind of went. I had to get myself together, so I worked hard off the park and I’m now up and running. Hopefully I can kick on.

‘I just need to try and get there. I feel the odd bit of sharpness here and there – as if I could do something.
‘But unless you are playing every week, it’s hard to get that match-sharpness and fitness. It usually takes two or three games before you feel quite good.’

From the end of November. Obviously it takes time to adjust and so on but you're not telling me he isn't fit enough to come on for 30 minutes against Partick yesterday.

His lack of game time is ridiculous.
