He'll get his chance, want him in CAM though just switch between him and Rogic for a bit of competition between them.

Even if you never rated Rogic, tearing up his contract is extreme thickness..

Read the first sentence and decided you know nothing about football or running a football club, so didn't read the rest :bbpd:

Or, he'll continue to progress as he has throughout his career already, which is that he'll look fantastic at Scottish Championship level, decent at SPFL level, but not really do much beyond that.

He'll be a decent hand domestically, but he's a far cry from the saviour many are claiming him to be in my opinion.

Were his ninth club in his five or so years as a pro, and he's already 24. If he was really a special talent he wouldn't have been bouncing around the like of MK Dons and Portsmouth on loan recently.

I think he looks out of his depth.

lack of awareness is my biggest issue with him but maybe he just needs more game time.

He's not out of his depth, he's like a lot of our current first team squad in that he's a domestic level player.

Don't know how anyone can give an informed opinion of him, his career at Celtic hasn't even started yet.

He is talented though, that is for sure.

It's not that hard really, we simply look at what he's done already and use that as a basis for the time being. That's how it usually happens, isn't it?

If we sign a player we don't just ignore his history and pretend we know nothing about him, do we?

So what are you looking at Hibs and Dundee United or down South?

What happens when you look at Mulgrew in the same light? 2 separate pictures, you cannot make an informed opinion on what he will be as a Celtic player because his career here is in it's infancy.

I think he has some very useful abilities, his passing so far has been very good. It's just a matter of finding the right tactics and style to be able to get the best out of him and others around him.

I'm looking at both, which is why I said that he looks like a decent domestic level player (much like most of our squad to be honest), but that he probably won't do much beyond that.

If he goes on to play a blinder in the Champions League or Europa League next season then my opinion will change, obviously.

Well, when Mulgrew came here I saw that he'd done not too badly at all during his loan spell at Dundee United, not really done that well during his time down south, and had done well for Aberdeen.

I concluded that he was a decent enough player at domestic level, but not much more, and that's what he's shown in my opinion.

Dundee United YPOTY in the space of a few months, played well at Aberdeen did nothing down South.

His European stats and what he has done for Scotland flies in the face of the opinion he has only ever been a domestic level player.
