The main reason for that was because we had brought nearly every one up, as I'm sure they would have been expecting the corner to be played in the box.

He was *, which is why he played the short pass and why the entire issue stems from him playing a short corner, with your centre halves in the box when you need a goal and there's minutes remaining.

I've said it was 100% Armstrong's fault and I stand by that. Even allowing for the fact he did dally on the ball and was unaware of the Ajax player behind him it is beyond criminal for a professional footballer to give him that pass under the circumstances.

It's both of their faults, the space was there so Allan could lay it off for Armstrong to swing it in at a better angle or Allan could of swung it in with his left or Armstrong just get the ball in box never mind passing it.

Armstrong was * though, he was struggling to job he was blown out his * but should of known better.

Also Izzy squared himself off in the middle of the pitch instead of going with the runner, could of covered the angle of the pass making harder so the guy might of gone on himself giving time for players to get back.

Definitely deserves to start more games. If that big dumplin Cifti wasn't snail paced, we could have won that game last night. They wee balls in behind the defence are something we've been lacking for a while.

Not sure what position to play him but he can play a killer pass to unlock defences

He's going to get his chance now, just as long as Johansen gets * dropped.

He played quite well last night, one of the better performers.

    His passing is very good.

I like the look of him more than I like the look of Armstrong.

I know we've not been great recently but I doubt a 14 year old Scott Allan would be getting a game.

Interview with him in the Celtic View this week
    http://www.celticfc.net/news/9694
The run starts with the slightly shorter journey to Perth for the difficult away match at St Johnstone this weekend but there is no such thing as too many games for Scott Allan, a player who’s aching to prove his worth.
“You enjoy this time of year,” said Allan in this week’s Celtic View.” If you’re a fan you kind of take football with Christmas now as well, watching the games and being part of what you love doing, so I don’t think you can complain.
“I want to take the chance and get involved as much as possible by getting on the park. That’s what it’s all about as a football player.”
And on Sunday’s match at McDiarmid Park he added: “St Johnstone try to build from their defence but also hit on the counter-attack. Michael O’Halloran has had a good month so we need to keep tabs on him but if we go and play our game and outwork them then we should get the win.”
The former Hibs player was making a name for himself in the capital and the Hoops supporters were understandably excited when he joined from the Edinburgh side in the summer.
His name can be heard from the stands at almost every game now, whether he’s on the pitch or on the bench, and Allan said he’s desperate to repay the fans’ support.
He said: “It gives you a bit of confidence when they’re singing your name and start to take to you when you come on the park so I need to build on that and put in some performances from a starting slot.
“You can’t really see how it’s going to map out unless you get that run of games and that’s why all football players want a run in the side so they can show what they can do.”
And Allan will be hoping that the busy run of games coming up over the festive period will give him the opportunity to do that.

Considering he's better than the vast majority of players in the SPL that's nonsense.

He'd moonwalk into any other side.
