I think Allan and Armstrong have both to share the blame, no one was expecting that pass from Armstrong, that was him just trying to be too clever, why put all the big guys in the box to then play it short? Madness.

I thought that too, and was surprised people were saying it was Armstrong.

Either way, it was a stupid corner to take when we are desperate for a goal and our big men are up for it.

Showed in a few glimpses that he is the player to link midfield and attack , if he plays regularly he will rack up the assists . Killer ball is his game as anyone who watched Hibs last season will tell you. Give him starts .

If Ambrose or Izaguirre lost it then * would have went into meltdown though.

Another I don't get they hype with he played 1 good pass to Griffiths. I would also give him a start at the weekend in fairness purely to see him play 90 mins to get a better judgement

Has to play at the weekend! the pass to Griffiths was sublime and he does that on a regular basis in his game... Nothing major to rant and rave about but on a * night result wise he was definitely a positive

Maybe add a bit more to his all round game play and defending ability but I am excited to see more of him

Agreed. Def should have started, hopefully he gets the game time going forward.

That through ball for Griffiths was Riquelme-esque btw... Shame the wee man couldn't put it away.

thought he did well when he came on, one cracking pass, the corner was just a shambles, going short when everyone is on the box? fannied on the ball, can't do that in Europe, and we were punished.

Thing is, if Griffiths scored that 1 on 1, that corner would never have played out that way. Shows you the margins in football.

Definitely deserves a start. Been crying out for a player that can make them type of passes since we stopped giving Stokes a game.

Would put him in the starting line up for sunday, let him get his error out his system right away, definitely think we have a good player here if given the chance

Far too early to judge him but I must admit, I thought he was over-rated when at Hibs.

    Bullshit.

Last few minutes of a game you need to win, your centre halves are up for the corner and Armstrong plays a tired short pass like a *.

Armstrong is 100% to blame for the lead up to their goal.

100%? No chance. He should have been paying attention. Not going to criticise him because he made a real difference, in what was a real step up for him even if he was playing consistently.

Armstrong shouldn't have gave it to him, Allan shouldn't have dallied. One deserves criticism and the other doesn't.

I liked the look of him last night, always looking to get the ball in behind the defence.

If he doesn't start on Sunday Ronny has lost me, guarantee his golden child Johansen will come straight back in Scott won't even be in the squad

You hit the nail on the head, Armstrong shouldn't have gave him it. He was too tired to hit the corner and took the easy and stupid decision.

The entire thing stems from his poor decision making.

Needs game time. As, I've said in another post his timing for the tackle was out but has a great eye for the pass. Would play him now that Brown is out with McGregor tthe No.10 with the 2 of them swapping during the match...but like Xavi & Iniesta used to do for Barca.
