    His press conference today

Speaking at Paradise, the Hoops midfielder said: "There are a lot of games coming up so I think everybody well get a chance.

SA: "It’s just up to me to take mine when I’m given it."

on life at Celtic: "I've been learning about blending into the way we play and how we work off the ball."

SA: "and what we want to do going forward so it’s just about being part of that and developing. "

SA: "Things have been fine. I’ve kept my head down and just got on with my football."

SA: "I knew when I signed here I’d need to be patient. I’ve had minutes to come on and show but I know I just need to wait for my chance."

SA: "The manager will pick the team he thinks is right and it’ll be the same come the European games."

SA: "We have some big teams to play against and there are some big fixtures there."

SA on @AberdeenFC : "I saw them a few times last year and they did well."

SA: They’ll be hoping to progress this year, I know a few of their players and they’ve got a really good team so it’ll be a difficult game.

SA: "Them and Hearts have strengthened and had decent starts so we need to look after ourselves and pick up points."

    * me,I can't believe what I'm reading here,Scott Allan's an average player,he will never be as good as Johansen, why the hype?couldnt make it in the lower league in England,so why are we bothering?

...because we don't play in the lower leagues in England?

He might never be as good as Johansen but, clearly, Johansen's in need of a week or two off. He's a squad player, he might come good and he gives us something we don't have - incisive passes in the final third.

Oh and he cost £275,000, so why the * not? Punt him for £1m in a year's time if he doesn't make the cut.

Still deserves a chance though. He has the ability to play for Celtic, just questionable if he's got the allround package, same as Rogic currently. If he doesn't cut it then its barely anything wasted, could probably punt him to Sevco and get our money back :smiley-laughing002:

Allan, Peace be Upon Him, is a really good player guys. There's a lot of folk being a bit too critical of him, he's just in the door. I think once he's settled and fully up to speed with Ronnies fitness/conditioning etc, he will be a brilliant asset. His natural vision and passing ability alone is probably up there with the best we have, imagine that amplified after a few months of quality training with quality players/coaches. Also he has the ability to suddenly make beastly dashes into the area on his own and his shooting had been getting better with Hibs. He will be an all round attacking threat from the AM and CM positions that gives us proper penetration. Can't wait to see him get more games and prove some folk wrong. Trust me guys, I've been keeping tabs on him since last season. He is a player. We've won a watch. :50:

Its time for ronny to start dropping unfit, out of form and playing with a injury players.
Even if allen is not up to speed yet broony and johansen need a rest and some bench time.

Think he's a good talent but I think we should've loaned him back to hibs when we bought him.
