Loved his interviews, he dealt with those hacks really well when the * couldn't wait to talk about sevco.

Seems to have a good head on his shoulders, hope it works out for him here.

This has probably been asked before

Is Scott Allans the largest Transfer fee one of the largest from the championship if not the largest?

cant imagine many more went for higher in the past?

Scott Allan: I'm ready for the challenge

BREAKING into the Celtic first-team is a challenge that Scott Allan is looking forward to.
After a hectic few days that has saw the midfielder swap Leith for Lennoxtown, the Glasgow-born attacker has embraced the task of earning a starting berth under Ronny Deila.
As last season’s Championship’s Player of the Year and having already found the net this campaign, Allan arrives at Celtic in good form.
The 23-year-old has also brought with him a confidence that he has what it takes to shine at Celtic.
He said: “For my job as a football player to come to Celtic, to go up a division, to play European football, it is an easy decision to make and that’s why I made it.
“It’s going to be challenge to get into the team. Obviously I’ve been doing well but it is something I’m really looking forward to. I think I’ve got the belief in my own ability to do that.
“When you go into a club and you know people, it helps you settle in quickly
“I already know a lot of the boys from Dundee United and the boys from the Scotland U21s so, for me, I’ve settled in really well and they’ve been brilliant with me.”
Allan’s move to the Scottish Champions follows on from spells with Dundee United where he came through the Tannadice club’s academy alongside current Celt Stuart Armstrong.
A move to West Brom followed, alongside loan spells with Portsmouth, MK Dons and Birmingham City before Allan Stubbs handed him the chance to return home to Scotland.
While his move down south didn’t yield the first-team experience he was looking for, the Scotland U21 internationalist believes he returned as a better player.
He said: “You just want to get everything out of the way and start focusing on football again on a daily basis.
"You hear things and you read things but for me it was just a case of getting it all out of the way and getting my head down on the training pitch and working hard.
“I’m older now and I’ve got a lot of experience that I took from going down south and I’m not going to let that chance pass me by again.”

Could this lad make the difference next week?Love Broony great at winning the ball back, rate Bitton aswell but the 2 of them seem to play sideways most of the time, from what iv heard of Allan he seems to drive at defenders from middle of the park, could potentially be a match winner.Thoughts?

I'd play him on Saturday but I'm not sure I trust him enough to throw him into our biggest game of the season.

Scottish championship to Champions league in one swoop, nah.

Surely, we will get to see against DU. All of our midfield that played tonight could do with a rest. If he has a blinder, he could play himself into the squad for next week.

I would like to see him start against Utd, no chance of him starting next week though unless he plays brilliantly and either Brown or Bitton are injured.

Was a bit too over eager with the through ball's but that's to be expected. Played a blinder over to Gms for one of them and looked decent..

His first few games he'll probably be trying to impress, but he's already won over the support.

You heard it today when he came on, and so did he.

It's just time for him to show what he can do on the big stage.
