I probably will, I wasn't sure though and didnt want to feel like an idiot if he doesn't. Also, there might be more folk on the forum who do it anyway.

It certainly wasn't easy but I did quite like it. If you haven't done it before then I wouldn't recommend crashing it in 6th year as people in my class who did that found it very hard

I got told it was easy, like basic maths. They only offer it at higher for sixth years in our school.

It's not the same as maths mate. The arithmetic side is simple enough, and you always have a calculator anyway. But coming from someone who done it at both standard grade and higher and done well at both, you'll either like it or hate it, regardless of how good you are at it. I was the latter and thats why I never went on to do it in uni.

It's one of them subjects your teacher will know after a few weeks if you really "get it" or are just number crunching the exercises. Either's fine for higher but if you had any intentions of taking it further you'd need to really get it. Hope that helps mate :50:

I just really need it to fill up space cause I need to do 4 subjects. I know it wont be easy and I need to crash it. But it's that or Chemistry and I'm almost certain Chemistry will be worse.

This is good advice. I liked accounts and got an A in the exam but I was never going to do it in uni. I did 'get it' but a good few people in my class just didn't have a clue all year round and probably failed the exam

I only did Chemistry standard grade but accounts would be better than it, definitely

I found higher chemistry in 6th year absolutely horrendous.

Failed my prelim so ended up dropping it after that. In fact half the class ended up dropping it as well.

Aye, SG was solid and most people I talk to this year say Higher is impossible.

I ended up just going with Accounts. Nothing else to pick, hopefully it will be easy.

And at our school the whole class will be crashing as it's not offered in 4th year.

That is alot of work mate. I only ended up doing 3 highers in my 6th year, completely messed it up, but managed to get a job so I'm not bothered about it. You will have alot of work to do at home if you want the grades out of them subjects
