    Doesn't surprise me, about 7/8 of my mates are going into the second/third years of their degree and don't really know what they want to do.

    I actually originally wanted to do a journalism course but didn't get the points in my leaving cert and I'm glad I didn't, from what I've read and heard a degree in journalism is far from essential if you want to go down that path anyway so I'd have been better off doing something else.

    I was 17 picking my college courses which I think is too young, although I'm happy enough doing what I'm doing for now.

    Aye, I'm not an accountant but I've to do * Continued Professional Development every single * year of my career, isn't enough to work, you've to do all that * paperwork too. :smiley-laughing002:

    Went into an induction meeting and was told to talk to the folk around me. Said about 6 words to one person. Never had a 6 word conversation felt like a novel. Girl must of been wondering what sort of drugs she had taken to see a red faced midget too nervous to say his own name correctly. That's my social interaction for the year done.I can crawl back into my hole now.

    My induction class was awful. We all had to stand up and say a bit about ourselves. Brutal.

    First day back got a puncture in my tire halfway down the road, missed my first class, puked in the toilets within an hour of gwtting there and had a 3 hours of breaks...

    What can you do if your student finance hasn't been processed yet?
