Just wondering if some of you who attend gigs could take 1-2 mins to full out my survey to help me for my dissertation? Would be greatly appreciated. It's about Ticket Touts. https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/YMWNXQF

Submitted my final piece of coursework of 3rd year today. I really should learn not to leave stuff to the last minute. Barely slept in the last 2 days

Exam on May 6th and that's me done for the summer :icon_mrgreen:

How do people get motivated to revise and how do you shut out the distractions? I can't do it. Desperately need to start revising for my first two exams on the 28th but can't be assed. I don't like reading which doesn't help.

I'm terrible for procrastinating as well. I think you should just think about how much better you'll feel leaving the exam having given it your best rather than getting lower mark than you know you're capable of. I need to get my * in gear for next year so I'll be adopting that thought process

I constantly fight with myself trying to convince myself that the positives of working hard outweigh the negatives but it never works. Constant battle going on inside my mind.
Yeah that was GTA's fault I think.

10 days is a good amount of time for two exams. Simply set yourself targets, you will find that 2/3 days before you will get right into studying its the other 7 where the motivation just isn't there.

Set yourself like 2/3 hours each day for 7 days, where you split it into the two subjects, so 90 minutes each and do a past paper for each. Im not the type that does this whole 7/8 hours a day malarky, you just get bored and you don't actually learn more than one would in half the time.

    I agree with EB.

I'm only in 2nd year at Uni mind you but I only ever study for up to 3 hours in each session max. The majority of the information I take in is the things I have studied for the 2 days prior to an exam.

    I have 4 in a week this year. :54:

Download StayFocusd (an add-on for Chrome, don't know if it's available for other browsers) and you can use the nuclear option to block certain websites for a chosen period of time. Useful to help with procrastination.

4 exams and 2 essays to go for me. 3 weeks until summer, can't wait to enjoy this weather.

Lads some advice needed. Have a 90 min exam at half nine in the morning and I'm cramming like * for it. I'm thinking I might do an all nighter and ill have learned everything I need to know by then, or would I be better off studying as much as I can until four or five and getting some kind of sleep beforehand?

Definitely, our class had a presentation to do and the bhoy in there had nothing the night before so he stayed up to 5am and had a sleep until 8, came in and passed and then went home for a sleep. :50:

Sleep helps you take information in and put your mind at rest too.
