sounds horrifying m8 lol only time i seen a "ghost" was when me and 3 of my friends were building a tree hut in some woodland near where i used to live, we were walking down the path turned the corner and there was a man standing with a grey torn suit on, he had a weird green tint to his face too , he didnt move at all i mean proper frozen , we stood there staring for 10 secs then legged it.

my friends dad was in town once, next to the big cinema and he seen a guy try to rob a woman and he chased him down the street, right under central station and the guy was shouting something about having a gun (he did have a gun), but my friends dad didn't believe him, when he gut under the tunnel the guy tried to shoot him but he missed, luckily just after this the police caught the guy

Tried this last night but got fed up and just slept on my side, BUT in a dream i had just before i woke up I realised I was dreaming and tried to keep the dream going but I woke up straight away, fairly weird. Looked lucid dreaming up on the internet and most things say you should keep a dream journal and aload of crap like that..

I won't mention the absolute scariest because I think they're too intimate, but one I will mention: I volunteered at a long-term Alzheimer's facility once. I honestly can't describe what it was like to anyone who hadn't experienced it. Sometimes it wouldn't be that bad but it was amazingly emotionally taxing. The people there were all at a particularly debilitating stage. There were brothers who lived in the same ward but didn't know they were brothers. There was this woman who would sit in a wheel chair and frequently let out this horrible gut-wrenching scream, it was horrifying to hear, I have no idea why she did it. I was an activities director so I took them through some gentle exercise and the majority would not remember me from day to day. There was a woman who had pictures of her family all over her room, think like Stan in that Eminem video, her walls were plastered. And she would spend most of the day in there crying hysterically because she didn't remember any of them, she couldn't remember spending time with her grandchildren, or raising her own children, or falling in love but she knew they were her family. There are so many individual stories like this I couldn't possible recount them all, but all of them were just emotional torture. I honestly admire the people who dedicate their lives toward working in facilities such as this. Every night I got into the car I had to cry. It might sound ridiculous, but I just can't even explain.

Cant really think of a scary thing like yous are saying probably a few times ive been chased by people but they were when I was younger.

I think i've had that sleep paralysis before but I was young, probably about 7 or 8 and it happened a few times. I remember I was lying in my bed but it was during the day it wasnt at night or anything or dark, I couldnt move but I was awaks and I thought my dad was on the TV lol same thing happened about 5 different times, i was lying in my bed watching my dad on the TV even though the TV wasnt on my mum just took me to the doctors when i happened. Sometimes I used to wake up during the night and it's always the same tune I hear playing and I know im hallucinating and whats happening but can't stop myself and theres always something ive got to do. The the last time was about 4 years ago and I stood at my window waiting on my uncle to come and pick me up so I could go to build a christmas present in his house (it was christmas eve even though ti wasnt lol) - I was actually awake but I knew I was dreaming or something and I knew it wasn't possible but couldn't stop it and that happened about 4 times the same one. Everytime I woke up and could hear that tune playing I knew I was hallucinating again but couldnt stop myself sometimes I just put the tele on until the tune stopped playing and I could get back to sleep :52: it's not happened since that time, I cant really remember what happened the times before except one where I put all the slices of bread on the floor in my kitchen but when i woke up after i went back to sleep the next day I couldnt remember why I done that but I remembered getting up hearing the tune and having to put the bread on the floor :52: i must sound pure weird haha probably not even described it right either :S

I dont think this is the best method to lucid dream, i think the dream journals and telling yourself to lucid dream etc are better, why would you want to put yourself in sleep paralysis if its that scary? Or is it scary when you know whats happening ? Apparantly scientists blame sleep paralysis on alien abductions, lovely

I was trying to talk to him but couldnt speak and he said it was like I was havin a fit but whenever he came over and said to me are you alright i just woke up. Its happened to a few people i know aswell

I know, look what that wrestler Chris Benoit done.

Once I was mountain biking and I fell off my bike trying to get up a narrow hill, a rusty nail caught on to my foot with my shoe still being on. The nail was literally stopping me from falling down the hill. It just slowly ripped right through my flesh but I only needed 5 stitches. I was 10 at the time. I could hardly walk. Except from a time I watched wrestling and jumped about like a maddy when the Undertaker returned :56:

Sleep paralysis also. On holiday I just froze and I couldn't move, I was 10 as well :56: I ended up jumping up screaming like a wee girl and just drinked water. Went back to bed and it happened again :56: I then took more water because it was just dehydration.

Everything happened to me when I was 10 :56: 2 months after my first ever stitches on my foot I got hit with a brick and was bleeding like * :56: Unlucky me eh, got 3 stitches.

That's why I don't particularly plan on living into old age. It just doesn't seem worth it to me.

Fell off a tree swing that swung out over a massive steep embankment when I was 14 and dropped about 50-60 ft backwards, pretty much towards certain death, could here my mates screaming behind me and miraculously landed on some branches and escaped with cuts and bruises. 2 girls who were my mates were in tears, thought I was dead. I guess the big man had my back that day. :icon_mrgreen:

Was late for a meeting in Newcastle a few years back and, tired and frustrated, foolishly overtook a lorry on the single carriageway of the notorious A69. A mercedes was coming right toward me at about 60 mph and I swerved onto the grass on the other side of the road, missed it by inches, impact probably would've killed me instantly. I couldn't drive for almost half an hour I was shaking so badly. Lesson well and truly learned.

Some really scary stuff. I wish I had something like that to tell you but I just don't. I do believe in stuff like ghosts. I've not had an experience myself but when somebody you know so well and trust tells you a story similar to some of yours you know its the truth. My aunty woke up one morning in her old house to see a man in black with a hood over his head standing over her bed. She couldn't see the face or anything because it was just a shadow. At first she thought it was my cousin playing a prank on her so she said something to him but he wouldn't move and just kept standing. She rubbed her eyes quickly and he was gone. Quite scary when its someone like a relative who you know so well and would never make up stories.

At my primary school, ofcourse, as there is at most schools, we had a ghost story and it was about a green lady who used to go to the school and lived in the old tower in the room at the top which was forbidden to pupils. I half believed it and half didn't but one night we had a disco on after school and me and my pals were outside playing "hidey" :icon_mrgreen: when we had ran round a corner and saw this green light hovering in the middle of the air. I had never experienced anything like it, all of us saw it hovering around and the wind began to pick up in the courtyard. So when we had naturally pat our shants and ran off back to our parents in the hall and tried to persuade them to come and see it, unsurprisingly, the light had disappeared but my pals still remember that night to this day.
