In cup football winning is everything. No matter what just win. Jackie Mac is a winner. Some people are too sensitive, do they expect him to roll over for us and not be hurting after going out of a cup.

I didnt see the game so i cant comment on any apparent leg breakers that his team have been accused of. If there was a few nasty challanges then i am certain that it is down to the players. Anyone who thinks Jackie would send his team out to do any of our players belongs in the mental

 

Jackie's a Celtic legend. He deserves respect.

if the roles where reversed everybody would agree with Jackie even some on here saying he's " gone down in there estimation" is ridiculous the man gave us 10 years and is a club legend the lack of respect is ridiculous

 

Dundee Utd didn't become dirty * after Jackie took over as manager. They have been a dirty crowd of * against us for years . Remember when H. Dallas and Dougie , lied to Lennon over why a penalty originally awarded to Celtic was over - turned .
They were dirty * that night , not for the first time nor for the last . To me over the last decade and more they have been as dirty as the Govan mob . Jackie was no saint when he played for Celtic but , he certainly was nothing like the dirty thugs that play for D. U. I was well pleased with the behaviour of the Celtic players on Sunday , obviously I haven't seen what Stokes has done and I will await before I blame him .

He's doimg the best for his team, it's working as well, their keeper should have been sent off first minute and would have been if he hadn't been highlightimg as an issue for the last 2 weeks.

 

Jackie McNamara is 100% committed to Dundee Utd, and is only interested in making sure he gets the best out of his team, or he can forget a career in management.
I dont believe for a second he sends them out to kick lumps out of anyone, but i do believe he will be sending them out to give it their all and to try and unsettle us.It hasnt worked, but he has to do what he can with the tools we have left him with.

In his mind, if he was to beat Celtic in 2 of these matches, he would be a shoe-in to be the next manager, so i dont blame him for anything.

Just saw all the highlights on sky sports news. Don't think the keeper should have been sent off as looked like Griffiths had hit the ball too far ahead and wouldn't have caught it. Some pass from Broony for the second goal and a good finish. I thought Stokes red was harsh, silly to react but McGowan elbowed him in the face and you could see the blood coming from Stokes. Then McGowan put in a terrible tackle on Henderson, hate seeing tackles like that especially on a player so young. *! Looked like Guidetti was goin to smash him as well :icon_mrgreen: then Bitton went after him too. Always hated McGowan, would have loved to see someone take him out the game as he clearly wasn't going for the ball in his Henderson tackle.
