keep him ive always been a sammy fan an i think he will be a important player for us as the yank commemtators said"he was a star at the world cup"

 

all about getting the correct system and players m8 !! you tell me when and where he,s played upfront on his own with proper widemen to support him ? last nights run for the pen was maybe an eyeopener to what he can do when played on the shoulder of the cbs , not saying its a cert to work but with europe coming up surely worth finding out !!

 

I'm undecided!! he has played great recently as he did in last years preseason then he disappointed last season. I would probably favour selling him.

 

when hes in the mood he looks excellent but all too often he looks like he isny trying a leg and for that reason id sell him.

 

its a tricky one that, played well the last two games against mutd and seattle .. sammy is so inconsistent, he's a confidence player and the celtic fans don't give him a break. we might not sell because of his pre season form, good idea .. show sammy we believe in him by rejecting hercules and keep him here, it'll give him confidence knowing he's wanted and we'll see how this season goes under lennon

 

I'd sell him he's been far to inconsistent for us and two friendlies doesn't change that

 

sammy would defo do a better job out wide left than mcgeady ! havnt u watched mcgeady ?? the most overated player ever to wear a celtic jersey and yet nobody gets on his back. sammy makes 1 mistake and the whole stadium errupts! woudnt be hard to outscore and make more assists than mcgeady lets be honest

Sammi has'nt performed when he's needed too. He only seems to do well when theres talk about gettin a new striker in and getting rid of him and when the transfer window closes its like he stops trying. thanks for the memories sammi and best of luck to you in the future:bbpd:

Thats the problem, all fans say about him is he's *, he's *, he's *, failing to realise he is the best striker currently on our books. For a guy who supposedly shy's away in the big games he scored one of the biggest goal of last season when we beat Dynamo.He also got one against Hapoel away. He went on a run of something like 8 in 8 last season and people were itching for him to stop scoring so they could get on his back again. We can't sell him because he is our best striker.

spot on. he was our best player up to christmas last season then we went out and signed keane and he never got a sniff. do u really think we can go into the season with fortune, rasmussen, hutchison, sheridan ???

He's offski i think. He's prob played the most pre season games out of all the palyers. Shop window selling from Lennon i think. He wouldn't let him go though if he didn't have something to replace him with.

I'm not a big Sammy fan but he is better than Fortune. I am worried Fortune won't be much different from last season. He doesn't seem to be the sort of player who can transform his style of play.
