A myth. . . Have you been watching him ?? Because he may or may not have put more effort in than someone else, dont mean that he put enough in. . . He won nothing in the air all day. . Every time he went for a ball he ended up lying on the grass like a wee lassy. . the guy just doesnt cut the mustard.

we had plenty of possesion in the game, he never got any service because he cant be * taking some responsibility and makin any runs into space.

I have a goals per minute ratio (based on the last 4 years):

Samaras scores a goal every 103 min (17 goals in 1745 mins)
McDonald scores a goal every 170 min (53 goals in 9027 mins)

I'm not saying it was his best game today but I'm saying MacDonald was worse (took his goal well though!) and there were 4 or 5 Celtic players even worse!

Nothing to do with McDonald, although I agree, he was poor today. . . at least he got on the end of something.

Samaras aint good enough. he made an impact at first, I could mark him out of a game now.

I don't know how mcdonald was worse. He tried to create something when he had the ball but I lost count of the amount of times samaras lost the ball because he dallied on the ball or because of his first touch. Also, he didn't win a thing in the air for mcdonald and was knocked off the ball to easily.

And can you name 5 players who were worse than samaras today?

Might get pelters but I thought I would give Samaras something positive like perhaps a 6.

Players worthy of a 5 or below in my ratings:
    M.Brown, A.Hinkle, G Caldwell, S McManus, A McGeady, Nakamura, P Hartley, S MacDonald

There is only one stat that counts. . .

I'm not on some quest for McDonald. . . He did absolutely nothing in the first half today. . . the three of them aint good enough.

The only players I thought played as bad as samaras were mcmanus and maybe caldwell and hinkel. Mark brown didn't do much wrong IMO and when mcgeady got the ball I thought he was one of our only players who looked like he was going to create something. I would say 6 is about average, and apart from those I've mentioned, and Scott brown, who played well, I'd give a 6.

So all of the strikers are * but the creative players are exceptional.
Are you willing to entertain the idea the midfield may be worse than the strikers and simply put, they do not create enough?

No i am not willing to entertain that, and not for one minute do I think we have any exeptionally creative players.

Mcgeady flatters to deceive and his shooting is diplorable. . . I love Nakamura, he can be exceptional but not consistent enough.. . .

Cant even think of any more "creative players.

Our forward are not good enough. . . Our play breks down in the last third time after time

I watched Sam Harris at manchester City and thought he was a decent player when he first came. Must admit he didnt have a lot to beat to be the best striker. As time went bye, he just started to loose interest. He did score the odd goal but his workrate was poor. He wants every ball to his feet or he cant be bothered stretching or running after it. I was glad he left but I didnt want him to sign for Celtic.

I haven't updated mine after today but I've got similar. It's only for this season though.
