    Another interesting statistic is that in Samaras last 5 games for us, he scored 3 goals and made 3 assists :50: Also had a good WC.

    The fact that he is still without a club tells you everything you need to know. A footballer who decides to turn up once every six games is no use to anybody. If we take him back it just shows that we are becoming desperate.

    The fact is that we are desperate. We need someone who can take us through that playoff vs Maribor to the CL group stages. We make so much money from getting there, and we all know that Samaras is a fantastic asset in europe.

    No there are clubs out there that want him, Sammy has never been one to be rushed and will do it the Sammy way, not anyone else's way.

    The guy was probably our biggest threat in Europe he was the one player European defenses didn't like playing against they could handle the likes of wee stokes in their sleep. Samaras was often the man the opposition pinpointed as our danger man when we played in Europe.

    His performances in Europe are vastly over rated, I can think of many games he was completely ineffective. He had a good group stages a couple years back and tbf done decent the last qualifier rounds, but no better than Commons did.

    He was missing far more than he done anything decent his Celtic career.

    Get Sammy back. Move on some people like stokes, balde, derk to free up wages. He was the only decent looking player we had going forward at cl level. He can come straight into the team not needing time to settle, another plus. I think he'd be great in a 433 out on the left.
