Well before the thread get's shut (if it's true), I want to post a tribute to the beautiful memories he gave us. I picked the picture (against Barcelona at CP with the rain falling down), Big Mick had already written the haiku a while ago and Vert combined the two and made it black and white to fit the spirit of the haiku. Captures the memories perfectly.

Ok I'll say it... Haven't felt this bad about a player leaving since Larsson.

I've a gut wrenching feeling too. Its like seeing an ex girl with a new fella.

Since the king i felt gutted Craig bellamy signed for blackburn and not us and more recently only ledley leaving was near as bad.
Maybe it should have been when hooper left but maybe because he wanted to leave i think we pushed ledley

 

I never really believed that we pushed Ledley. Think he could have quite easily stayed and signed a new contract. In his heart, he definitely wanted to play in the EPL.

Samaras though has been pretty fiercely loyal. He has qualities not often found in football nowadays and I love him for it.

Surely this thread is game over as Samaras has signed for Malaga.

A shame because I think Celtic should have renewed his contract.

 

Dont care, was earning to much and doing to little, I like the guy but glad the 1 in every 10 games player is off the books.
