he needs another goal to have scored more than miller did in 06-07 season... just saying....

hope he can bring his game up to get around non-SPL defenses. Its a real concern of mine.

He has the time and potential to be a big, big player. You can see he's growing in confidence week in week out, AND he's got sticky boots. WGS called it right once again.

you guys {celtic}fans and otto rehagel, lately speaking and having private training with him are the ones that brought samaras back to his feet.
this is true in m city he was lost, they didnt know how to use him:31:,for 2 years or so he was benched most of the time..
he wanted to explode and you guys did the job!we know him and when he says i love to play for celtic and for celtics fans,he means it 100%.

Well that's great to hear. We love it when the players are passionate, and you can tell that Sammy has plenty of passion for the club and for the game. And hopefully his form can help you guys qualify for the World Cup, it looks like your group isn't bad and you've gotten off to a great start. Consider me converted as a Greece fan.

diegan its true mate, looking at him play so bad was terrible for us,
something had to happen the timing was great for him for a comeback and it happened at CELTIC----he also said about his team-players that have helped him also.
anyway not only 1 makes a team, its celtic all together and its chemistry,
the pubs here show celtics games and i see greeks converting to become celtics fans also....

thanks for your good words on us..

I have a greek guy who sit's beside me in work. The abuse I have been giving him over Samaras since he joined in January has been bordering on racism.

Needless to say he's been a little bit smug over the last few weeks :85:

his statement does not surprise me at all. when the camera man walked up the team line at aalborg game, champions league music playing, crowd in full voice just as it got up to him i noticed him taking a deep breath and blowing out as he looked to the crowd. i mean like one of those holy * it does not get much better than this deep breaths. you dont get to many players whose hairs stand up thse days, his did you could see it in his face he was blew away.

you could see his talent but his confidence had gone. Now he has his confidence again he looks like he could be world class. Very few players have all that pace, skill, height, goals. We got him for 1 million. Thats crazy. He looks like a 6 million plus player to me. Manchester City have made a big mistake.

Man City will be going for a totally different class of player from now on, the way things are looking now we can count ourselves lucky we beat the huns to him.

In saying that I'm starting to get the office english fans coming off with "he couldnt make it in England but is strolling the SPL" already! :31:

Honestly, in my opinion, Celtic is a more important club than Man City and understands how to play football better as well.

Samaras was treated like * at City, by the fans and management. No chances were created for him, the team was not a team, but a bunch of players trying to show flashes of skill in the vain hope they would get taken by a club that is not culturally in the grave the way City is and has been for decades.

Celtic is a mature club. They brought out the samaras you see now and they alone should take credit. Whether Celtic was competing in the EPL or La Liga, it would have always had the ability the raise the Samaras we see today and likewise, City could have had him for another 5 years and Samaras would probably have switched sports to the High Jump or something in order to earn money.

Samaras always had this huge talent, however it is Celtic that deserves the praise in being mature and intelligent with Samaras.
