His hunskelping antics means that a new deal is completely merited, I'm not just talking about his brace at New Year either, he's made an impact in every game since them against the huns and they can't deal with him.

Used to be a massive critic of him and would have happily seen him punted but he's won me round, dunno if I would have given him 4 years right enough, maybe 2 or 3. Ah well, if he gets a 4 year deal then good on him.

I hate it when people say that. It's as if they feel he turns it on and off whenever he feels like it, if that was the case he would be at his best every single minute because he loves Celtic.

He's got a consistency problem, I'm sure he's well aware of it but it's not as if he only starts trying when there's something for himself at stake, like a contract.

Could Celtic hope for a better 'third' striker (so to speak)?

I'm not so sure. Maybe someone that's a little less frustrating right enough :icon_mrgreen: but he is our most complete striker in the sense that he is the only player in our squad capable of playing up top himself and leading the line. Even Hooper, who is quality, doesn't have the height or natural tendency to run the channels to play up top himself.

I just wish, like every other Celtic fan, he would give us performances like the 2 nil game at the shitpit more often.

I don't think he'll cost that much, either. This will be a good bit of business. He just wants to be here. He seems to love Celtic.

I'm not sure about that mate. Samaras's love for Celtic is clear and if he could be at his unplayable best every game, then he would do everything to make sure that he was. I think his lack of consistency is definitely not because he's lacking in effort or picks and chooses when to play well.

You're right though, all about opinions Alsy.

I think Samaras at 26 is starting to show allot more consistency I'm hoping he was/is a late developer

this better motivate him to produce a more concistent product, the thing that make sammy the most frustrating player at the club is that he has excellent ability, does not show it often enough.

Pat McCourt doesn't show consistency either yet folk cream their pant over him.

    Just saying!

Fair enough, he's been playing well. But I still want him to score more goals.

Personally 2-3 i think would be best, but recently sammy has been playing good consistently.

This is a good bit of business. Sammy is a very useful player to have around.

Aint sure about this, I guess it would depend how cheaply they are resigning him for, I am sure that could be a serious factor.
Does anybody know how much he gets per week!
