If the board don't choose the players then you will feel solace in the fact that BTM actively scouted Ki, he also asked for Robbie, you must also be happy to know that WGS actively scouted Misuno,Du Wie and the other Keane while letting it know that he was'nt too chuffed at losing Millar, I could go on.
Unfortunatley today its called "a good piece of bussiness".

If Walter can hang on to Millar and the Boogie man it could be a long season.

 

i guarentee the board will do everything now to either seal keane or given for us just basicaly to shut us up like last season !
sureley the decent thing to do here is now to drop ticket prices by at least £10 , me and my wife and 2 kids went to stmirren game and it stung me £88 !! , is that really worth paying again after this tonight ?

I'm with you my man drop the prices and fill the stadium, but sadly when it comes to Peter there is no logic in that.
You see Peter came of age around the time that we traveled to Seville when the place was, not just locally but also globally rejoiceing, you see Peter thought that he had this fantastic global support in his hands, and he did for a while but he screwed up.

That's what a scouting system is for players are recommended to the manager and he ultimately decides whether to pursue the player. I doubt Tony was too unhappy we signed Keane, If he didn't want him, he wouldn't have signed, you might be able to criticise the board for selling Miller but sometimes the money is just too good to turn down, someone has to look after the financial stability of the club! you can't just buy, buy, buy or you end up in he hun's boat.

i agree. the board aren't going to give lenny any more money unless he sells more players. loovens, sammy, MAF, who else? even that won't get us a lot of money, nor will it give us much time to cut a deal to bring players in to replace them

Even if the board don't release the McGeady funds because of tonights result I wouldn't criticise them for that because they have the future security of the club at heart

 

also the money we got for the players in the jan window aswell skippy robson and co so really lennon has probs spent nothing, with all that money that came into the club, and all of the wages thats been cut

 

don't know why if thats the case cause we have the money to spend, but if that is the case then the board need to come out and say why

cause lennon has probs only spent 1m-2 max this summer even if that with all the players thats gone out also with the money made in the jan window aswell skippy and so on.....

as previous post says , where is the money for robbo mcdonald mcmanus boruc etc on top of mcgeady ??? the board are grippy * , you think of all the players we have brought in over last 2 seasons , how much has been spent ? virtualy * all because our scouts are sent to watch players in poor leagues looking for the next 50 grand agathe or half a mil larsson , they dont see the need to pay big for aplayer (ok fortune but ffs)
if there going to hold out on the money drop the fecking ticket prices !

 

we are definately being taken for mugs by the board at this moment in time as far as how much we've spent goes. It's always published that we have spent 10m, yet it's never brought up that to fund this 10m we have sold alot of players and freed up wages.

 

from the top of my head, we've brought in nearly 20 players in 2 transfer windows all be it some were loans and free transfers, we have been consistently spending money. I still think there's money to spend and Lenny will make a couple more additions yet.

They have backed lenny for players he wants, we do need a few more but you cant say they havent tried or done something wrong, lennons the manager
