Tom Rogic on his day....is probably the best player in our squad.

Its strange hearing someone say that they are not a fan of him.

I mean what bit about Rogic are you not a fan of??? That top corner bullet strike at Kilmarnock?........His last minute clincher against Motherwell at Fir Park last season????.......His treble winning goal in the last minute at Hampden??? or his thumping turn and blooter goal at zombieland earlier this season????............

.............your right actually when I re-think all of those times it puts me right off him.

Bring him home and get him in the team. He's better than Callum McGregor.

Different positions. And if that was true, McGregor would be at Aberdeen, lighting it up and everyone would be saying he’s better than Christie.

I’ll wait and see how he plays for a big team and if he can score as many massive goals as McGregor before I judge how good he is.

McGregor is a far superior footballer. It’s not even close.

Mcgregor was only lucky enough to be here first and got more of a chance. If Christie was offered the same luxury it would be McGregor on loan somewhere.

Thay being said, I'd argue they are both of a very similar level. I'd side more with a Christie though if pushed for an answer.

They are different types of players. Christie is more of a number 10 than McGregor.

McGregor is sort of between a 10 and a central midfielder. He darts about the pitch.

Far too slow. Bad stamina. Cannot press the ball. BR wants every player to press the ball. Great option to have against teams that are happy to sit back and defend, not so much in matches against superior opposition (for instance in Europe).

Obviously, he is brilliant with the ball at his feet. Him and Paddy are probably our best players in that regard.

Thrives under pressure as well. That's what I love the most about him!

Got a feeling he'll be remembered as a waste of a signing.

We loaned him to Notts County for a full season 4 years ago. He had a good season down there and has built on that since he returned. Over 100 games now for us and still only 24 let us not forget.

Christie deserves a full season working under BR to see if he has a chance with us..

His loan move has been a success and deserves a chance..

    Zzzzzz

Edit: I should at least out some justification there. The fact is McGregor and Christie are similar players at similar levels. I don't understand how that's controversial?

Although McGregor has been off form the last few weeks before the break. He is an excellent player, he's not looked out of place in the Champions League where he was excellent v Bayern..

As I stated Christie deserves a chance to prove himself with us, his loan move has been a success.

However he has done nothing in a Celtic Jersey yet.. where as Callum has excelled. Turning it on for Aberdeen on loan is a lot different from making a difference regularly for us.

So to say there's not much difference between them is a totally baseless statement, without fact.

    So aye.. pish.

All of your argument is based off the fact McGregor has had a run of games with us. Christie was never afforded that luxury.
