You can stop measuring your dicks comparing Scotland to Republic of ireland now :52:
Fact is it will be a difficult game over in Russia, they have quality players, Malafeev in goal, zhirkov, dzagoev, kerzahok, arshavin, pobregnyak, and pavluchenko. I am not sure if everyone is fit but they have players who can score goals, and just like everyone thought france would win against Scotland, i think Russia will win against the republic as they simply have better players.

Malafeev isn't fit, I know that. Out for 5 months I believe.

Akinfeev is injured, as well. It'll be interesting to see who they select in goals.

Don't think McCarthy will ever play for us.

Would be a huge mistake to let Trap go IMO

Trapattoni was on today saying that he wants to stay on as Ireland manager for the next World Cup Qualifying campaign. Not sure what the FAI will do and whether O'Brien who I think is paying a big chunk of his wages will want to keep the finances flowing but we will see soon enough I would imagine.

Russia game is without a doubt make or break for us in terms of this European Championships. If we at least get a draw we can still finish second and make the playoffs. A defeat and you can forget it.

I think what has really disappointed me about the campaign is how negative and how poorly Ireland played in both their 2 big home games against Russia and Slovakia.

Personally, I'd love Roy Keane to get the job, but there's little chance of that happening.

I want Trap to leave, regardless.

Martin O Neil. There doesnt seem to be many suitable club jobs available for him so why not.

Trap should have been leading us into a World Cup last year if it wasnt for UEFA cheating but I hope his contract is not renewed. FFS, he is one of the highest paid national mangers in the world. Three candidates I would like to see to see compete for the Ireland job are Martin O`Neil, Mick McCarthy and Brendan Rodgers.
