I’d love to see Soro and Turnbull at HT

 

We haven’t got wingers mate.

 

There is a lack of effort and drive.

 

Our midfield is broken.

 

First half goals

 

He's been poor and the whole midfield doesn't look right..

I'd like to see Turnbull get on and get his foot on the ball..

Forrest hasn't looked good at all on the left..

 

They're committing men forward in the press though which should then leave gaps further up the field for our midfield and strikers to exploit ...yet we aren't.

We're 2-0 up but we've created basically nothing from open play, yet have given Ross County several good chances. That has to be a worry.

 

We won’t, but that’s down to a lack of quality on County’s part. Not because we’re killing the game.

Barkas has probably been the best player on the pitch, or one of them at least, which says it all so far. We’ve had 6 shots, 3 on target. They’ve had 5, 3 on target.

In no way have we been comfortable.

 

That half was a mixed bag. Some nice play and some sloppy play. Can’t complain about the scoreline though.

Ntcham and Frimpong probably the standouts.

 

We are so used to the opposition having no or few real chances.

It’s football, they’ve had their chances and we’ve stopped them. A good save isn’t luck, it’s part of being a good team and rather than being fortunate to be 2-0 up, we deserve to be 2-0 up.

It’s not as comfortable as we’d like, but they aren’t really causing problems. Aimless crossing into the box isn’t making me uncomfortable.

 

Honestly, I think you get somebody occupying the space between midfield and upfront the full dynamic of it changes.

 

Well the ones that are out wide Frimpong and Forrest .

 

Mc Gregor has not been that great this season either that's our two most dependable players out of form

I'm happy with the score line. Not so much with quite a few other things.

 

Our midfield has been dreadful, Ntcham and Brown dont work together.

 

Need to reshuffle that midfield. That's what's letting us down at the minute.

Come out the 2nd half like that, give it 15 then get Turnbull and Christie on for Brown and /EdouardAjeti.

 

2-0 up but that wasn’t a good performance. Barkas was more involved than Laidlaw.

Our midfield is too easy to run through, and has been for some time now. Not creating anything from open play either. A penalty and a bit of a scrappy one from a free kick

Get Turnbull on for Brown. Get Taylor on for Forrest. Forrest at LWB is mental, really.

 

Actually think Brown has had a good first half. Ntcham less so.

Thay midfield pairing has just never worked for me. It’s too flat. Would really like to see either Turnbull or Soro in beside Brown.
