Roll Of Honour in to the charts?

It's better than harping on about how much "I don't care what others make of this song" then proceed to list multiple quotes of what others are saying about the song, like many have done.

 

I won't be able to hear it tomorrow somebody record and stick it up tomorrow please actually missing a historical moment !

I think it will be no longer than the first few words read the roll

Downloaded the R.O.H.last week and just looked there on the bbc to see that on every song you can have a quick listen but on R.O.H. you can't!

Not nice, really want to say some angry words but what do I expect from the impartial bbc, when they don't give a *.......AREHOLES!!

Not sure about that, if it gets played then great but i think it has opened peoples eyes to how ridiculous this law is. I cant be for or against republicanism for the simple fact i dont really understand it all. And by the way i would rather be ignorant to it all than take sides, that said if someone holds certain beliefs then i support them more than those that would try to take those beliefs away. Bit drunk but hope i make some kind of sense

Seeing as it has been about 20 years since I last listened to what was the chart show on the radio, does such a show still exist? And does it usually play every song in the top 40, or just those towards the top end of the charts?

 

On the BBC? No it's now cut down to a couple of hours. They play the odd tune here and there and all of the top 10. It's mostly * waffling though.
Although i'm sure some will ignore that fact and come in here with the raging face smileys.

Not sure of the commercial stations normally play all of the Top 40 though. I know Heart down here don't now either.

 

I thought new entries got aired.

Back in the day when I had my cassette player set ready to record those songs I most wanted, it was Dr Fox on Capital FM. Good times...

I don't think there are many grown ups that know a single song in the top 40 do they? I am not sure this song getting to number 30 in the charts or whatever is going to flag on anyone's radar.

 

That might be true. Although i'm sure they tend to skip by most of the low chart entries.
I don't listen to it all that often, only when in the car/van.

The disappointment of catching the DJ's voice on your chart hits tape...

the last time i looked it was at 34 think we find out at 7PM.

 

I mind sitting with my tape deck, recording my favourite songs off the top 40 and trying to stop the tape before the DJ would start talking again.

I wouldn't know anything I've heard so far...
