Well, I'm guessing civilians weren't the target. So yes, it was a mistake.

What does anyone sending bombs in the post the other day have to do with singing a song remembering the Hunger Strikers of 1981 ?

Support for Irish Republicanism has been associated with Celtic and the support for many years, way before the outbreak of The Troubles.Have you ever heard of Michael Davitt? Ever read the old media reports of songs Celtic fans would sing or have you ever saw the official club records featuring 'Sean South of Garryowen' and 'Off to Dublin in The Green',among others?

The connection to Ireland is obvious, many of our fans are from there and many more descend from there, now we're being criminalised for singing songs about those who fought for Irish freedom and to add insult to injury we've got * revisionists like yourself and Lawwell trying to appease them and attempting to deny history. No doubt you'd have the hypocritical audacity to join in with Let The People Sing.

So you were at the remembrance day service. If this is how you like to spend your time then your opinions would likely have a more unionist leanings. Nationalists tend to avoid these kind of events.

    Wow, a new low.

    Attending a British army commemoration
While labeling your countrymen who starved for justice, 'scum'.

So Celtic FC has nothing to do with the IRA... Yes there are people who support and sing about the RA but the club has nothing to do with the IRA.

I have been going to Celtic games since the late 80's and was educated in the Republic and live in the North so yes I have heard of Micheal Davitt and those songs but thanks for patronizing me.:86:

You said you were there. If you were not attending the commemoration then where exactly were you when you witnessed the bomb?

The people in this song were dead when it happened so it has no relevance to this thread whatsoever
