Only needs around 3000 to make the top 40.

    I think we'll do it.

think this could easily get the 3000+ downloads it needs to make the top 40. not sure if it will make much of an impact but time will tell.

I wonder what will happen if people do go out and buy it and they have to play it on the top 40. :56:

It will be censored by the hypocritical, totalitarian, fascist British scum.

Basically, they'll just ignore it essentially.

The more they censor it the more attention it will bring.

Agreed. Not playing it will give it more exposure than just playing it with the minimum of fuss.

just goes to show you he doesn't have a clue wit he's on aboot.

anyone know the price of the song ... And how we plan on promoting it? My mates had a band that got number 1 in the Scottish charts and I remember him telling me that their manager told them to release their single in januray/February as its the easiest time of the year to get to get high numbers. cuz alot of people are broke. Now it worked for my mates band cuz his big bro sold a wad of gear and paid everyone in the schemes at our bit to go out n buy the records. We would go all over Scotland in coaches buying them then gave them back to the band. They would go back to the record stores and sell the singles back and we'd do it again. This was all to get them in the top 40 so the single would get radio play every day. It worked aswell. They tried it at 1st by buying a load of stolen credit cards from London and buying multiple singles and got caught and kicked off the charts. Had to change label name then tried the coaches full of the young team which worked and put them in history as the highest single sales from an independent band in Scotland.

Funny story - the distribution company called my mates band to tell them they're spot in the charts and their single sales. They were puzzeld and told him his singles sales were like 14,000 sold but he was puzzled because the distribution company only made 10,000 singles haha can't remember the exact number of sales but it was something like that.

sureley if we can buy roll of honor in a cd retail store then why shouldn't we be able get it to Number 1?

so basically, lets getting going! Maybe get some coaches aswel ? Haha
