    If we sign Robbie Keane we will win the league next season easily. By at least 10 points. SPL defences just couldn't cope with him and Hooper.

    Don't see why you wouldn't take a striker of that quality if it didn't bankrupt the club, having Stokes, Hooper and Keane on our striking books would be a very formidable front line along with a kind of target man striker as well.

    I emphasize though that it would have to be within the clubs budget, max 4 mil transfer fee and 30-35k pw wages. Otherwise it wouldn't be worth it if we could get someone of a similar quality who is younger for the same kind of price.

    he is 31 he had his chance last season he ran back to spurs cause they had champions league football

    No Thanks, Had his chance he couldnt get back to spurs quick enough.

    Every club he's been at his attitude has let him down thinking he was better than the rest of the team, seen him quiet alot turning to the players behind him and playing the blame game.

    if he was the big celtic fan he proclaimed to be .. he woulda stayed another year at the very least . Help the club get the title back after mowbrays disastrous season.

    But nah he went and signed for a now relegated west ham .

    it was out of robbie keanes hands.

    im not praising him to the high heavens here, but if he was within £2M and had wages of £25k-£30k p/w ... i think it would be stupid not to take him on. Him and hooper/stokes ( maybe even a front 3 ) would cause an absolute riot and be pinging them in every game.

    But back to my first point .. celtic probably offered spurs what they thought was reasonable, and spurs more than likely rejected the bid .. or better yet, celtic probably didnt even offer anything.. thats nothing to do with keano.

    btw.. just want to point out. alot of keanos goals last season were penalties.. his goal to game ratio wasnt as great as people think.. but i would put this down to all play going through him!

    No please. I think that he's never gonna play fottball like before,when he was at Tottenham. He loves the club ... that's nice but Big Mick loved celtic too and he wasn't celtic class. Hooper is far better player at the momment ... for example.
