  1. would love to see robbie back, his influence on stokes and hooper would be imense, and could only help both players to fullfil there potential, he hasnt won anything in club football, and this should be used to try encourage him back, considering we make an acceptable bid to spurs.

IN, £4m for Keane, £2m for Forster and £2m for a decent CH, and the league is ours,

OUT, samaras, murphy, mcginn, loovens, hooveild, odea and maloney to raise some funds and free up some wages.

  2. Spot on mate. :50:

  3. I would rather have Keane over Bellamy . Bellamy is a hit and miss in my opinion . You dont know what your gettin with him sometimes ?? His knees are gone and hes not the kind of player we need , mind you keane isnt either .. I would rather have Boothroyd ??? He's the target man we need . :shamrock: :celt_2:

  4. part in bold, problem is he is not a target man

  5. Bellamy has told Man City if they dont let him go to Cardiff he is retiring, so, its we can probably strike him of the possible list.

  6. Keane is better than Bellamy, Bellamy goes down to the championship and only scored 11 goals, I guarantee you that if Keane was playing down there he would score at least 15 and have better than a 1 in 3 goal scoring ratio. Plus Bellamy was on a good team with lots of talent around him and he still couldn't light it up like everybody expected him to. Before someone says he's a different type of striker, we already have a strong midfield with guys that can score and pass the ball around. We need a goal scorers and Keane has already proven that he can score goals in the SPL.

  7. hes class but celtics high earners are max 25ish would keane settle for that? not a chance.

  8. Ill never forget that first Parkhead goal of his because I was there. I only get to attend one game a year because I live across the ocean. It'd bring a tear to my eye if he signed again.

  9. Bellamy can't play every week now due to knee problems....its amazes me why fans insist on brining up the impact he had last time he was here....that was years ago now!

  10. Quality player, * of a man. He's only in it for the money, couldn't care about winning trophies.

  11. This

  12. I agree,* Keano & Bellamy

  13. I don't like Keane, never have really probably because he is from tallaght and i don't like tallaght as all the football teams that I played against in tallaght were scummy little teams but he still has it.

  14. I wouldnt get Keane Bellamy or Given to be honest i would prefer to look at players in other countries than get over priced/rated players from the Epl or Championship in that matter....

  15. Seems like there are a lot of people that must have been disappointed when he came to us last time.

In truth, he would be a wonderful player for us. Would need to come at the right price. But Neil knows what he could give to our side - experience that we lacked last season.

Sad to see some people turn on a player who when he came did a great job, same with Keane.

We as fans can sound very bitter at times.

  16. Keanes wife didnt want him up here the first time. So stands to reason she'll still think the same. I dont want him here, he made his bed so * him. When he's about 37/38 he'll come out and want to play for his 'heroes' again, experenince the 'greatest' fans in the world. * off !!

Keano was good here, also a shitebag.

  17. Forget about how much he would cost for a minute. Forget about his wages. Forget about his age. Forget about his personality. Forget about his wife...

Q: Would he bang 'em in for fun for Celtic?

    A: Course he would!

I'd have him back in a trice.

  18. Thing is, you can't forget about all these things. Players come with baggage & it's not just a question of ability, but of how that player's personality etc is going to effect those around him and his impact on the dressing room.

For example, Mark Viduka banged goals in for the Hoops, but was a complete & utter a**hole, including to his teammates. Had MO'N just looked at the player's stats he may well have insisted on keeping an unhappy Viduka, rather than punt him & bring in Chris Sutton. The rest, as they say is history.

  19. That's why he's always been there for his country then is it, often playing through injury for them? Unbelievable, some people.

Oh, and by the way, Keano is famous for being a great guy to have around the dressing room. Martin Jol said that if anyone was sitting on their own in the canteen at Spurs Keane would sit next to them and have a chat.
