    Broony!
31 when the new season starts means there's not much resale value, whereas with Long there is and also less wages in the meantime.

From a business perspective it makes sense. From a footballing perspective it could also make sense!

    Only time will tell...

I just want to see keane in hoops again. Him scoring an old firm goal and doing is typical rolling celebration will be priceless

I've said it before this guy is class, hewould score plenty of goals for us over the next few years. Keane in the team right now would score 30 plus next season. Never mind spending 5 million on Long, get Keane in with Hooper and Stokes, they would learn so much from him. cheers Keano made me £50 richer by scoring the first goal tonight. Please come home

Those saying no thanks to 30+ more goals next season.... can I ask why??? Keane or Bellamy would be great. Who wouldn't want those goals?????? Especially when our defence is slipping and we vitally need them in those close matches

I personally haven't taken to Keane coming back, but after just watching the video of all his goals for Celtic, i'd have back in a min. He would need to take a bit of a wage cut tho.

If the Long transfer is as unlikely as it now seems, Keano would be a very good option indeed

Would love Keano back here, who wouldnt hes fantastic.

But unfortunatly hes a money grabber and unless something drastic has changed which ive missed he doesnt want to come back here.

    And Bellers at City :56:

He'd need to take a big wage cut tbh.

Keane and Hooper up front would win us the League. Simple as that.
