haha, I pure hate that celebration and all. Just looks completely bent.

 

It's just a tribute to his dad,nothing wrong with that.

 

I wish this rumour would go away. Having said that, I can't understand all the stick you lot are giving him. It's not his fault we didn't win the league in the 6 months he was here. I don't think he turned us down, I don't think Lenny even considered him when he had to rework an entire team. FFS he would be the best striker in Scotland next year if he came back. Don't want to talk about it anymore - but feel free to keep kicking lumps out of a guy you all celebrated the arrival of 18 months ago.

Celtic Glasgow are planning to sign irish forward Robbie Keane on loan again. The 30-year-old already played for the Scottish club in the 2009-2010 season when he scored 16 goals in 19 matches.

Keane would be a class act at Celtic, give him a pre season and put him in a confident team and he'd stroll the league, 12 spl goals in 15 games in his 6 months here last time, him up front with Hooper and they'd tear apart SPL defences...

i'd happily see Given and Keane signed on 20-30k per week plus good match appearance fees & win bonuses.

A fit Keane for a full season would bang in 30 goals plus.

 

Keane hasn't been fit for years though, if he was he'd be playing for Spurs. Enough of this pish already he was past it the last time.

without draggin on about it, he was in a team that, lets face it, thats the worst its been for a good while. main point being, i would take any guy that was "unfit" who could still score 12 goals in 15 games.

i would personally, like to see him back. a decent forward should surley be scoring 10-15+ goals a season, and with players we have not gettin near that (samaras) and i reckon keano n hooper would probably be close to doubling that in a season with the midfield we have now

 

To tell you the truth i went off Keane after he left us....i just got the impression he was happy to have played 6months for us and that was that.....BUT the guy will score golas up here still and would definetly win us the league. If it can be done, i hope Celtic pull this one out the bag....with Given too

I think he and his experience will be usefull for Europe since we have a fairly inexperienced squad at that department also he scored 12 in 15 with a poorer celtic side so i think he would do a good job for us.

 

I hope we don't bother with him. He is too expensive and IMO past his best.

We should look for a class CB, Target man and a Goalkeeper.

Take him in a heartbeat he's only turned or about to turn 31 get another 3-4 seasons out of him if dermot would foot the wage bill again like before i just dont see how its a bad move to have a player of his quality and experience in the side!!!

another centre half Keano and given and id call that a quality window!
a world class goalie, a top striker in a young exciting team bodes well for us all the other players would benefit from the experience of these two!!
