They're both well past it, honestly. One of them doesn't even play anymore. In their prime, though, I would go with Keano in terms of goal scoring, and Bellamy in all-around play in the Forward position. There's really no contest between them in both of those "bests".

Can't trust Wiki 100%, but you usually can for stats. Bellamy played 546 and scored 170, with 78 caps and 19 goals for Wales. By comparison, Keano has played 677 games and scored 284 goals with 138 games for Ireland, contributing an amazing 65 goals. And he's still going...

So, what are we judging these players on exactly that has Bellamy such a clear winner? Keane has reached heights that Craig can only have dreamed of.

Neither one of them could deliver us a league title! I preferred Bellamy tho.

Bellamy by a good bit. Keane is/was a very good striker with great movement and good finishing but Bellamy is a far better all round player for me.

I would actually mark Keane down a couple of points for his shocking, minter of a celebration :87:

Always cringed when I saw that. Bellamy at the shitpit however, beautiful.

Haha yeah, somersault is stretching it though. A clumsy cartwheel followed by a forward roll, that's primary school PE right there. Think maybe it worked when he was young, but as he aged it looked a bit silly.

    Each to their own :50:

I think he'd be delighted if the only criticism that can be mustered is his celebration.

I think it's iconic personally, like running away with your hands up and tongue out.

Keane's been player of the year 4 times (3 times at Spurs, once with us). Bellamy's just got the one with Blackburn. Speaks for itself, IMO.
