a slug is at the bottom of a hole 20m deep. if the slug climbs 5m up every day and at night he falls back down 4m, how long will it take him to get out of the hole

I once knew a slug that was FBI undercover, so it all depends if the slug has a walkie talkie and back up SWAT team in which case I'd say between 3 and 4 minutes.

Once you reach 20 you can escape and you won't fall back again.
the max height you reach on your first day is 5 (then you fall back to 1), on the 2nd day you reach 6 (and fall back to 2). after 16 days you have reached 20 the first time. -

16 days is correct
two cars are 120 miles apart and are going towards eachother both driving at exactly 30mph. but at one of the cars, a bird is released that will fly at 60mph.

the bird keeps flying until it meets the other car, at which point it turns and flys until it meets the other car and then turns around etc.....
wat i want to know is... how long would the bird have been flying for by the time the two cars meet. -

The Goalie lad is having us on! You can amble all you like but without opposable thumbs you'll never swing from branch to branch, peel bananas or CLIMB. Sorry. It's just bad science. Gives decent slugs a bad name. -
