Dunne is very similar to Maj in that he can be commanding but he's slow and his bad days at the office can be just woeful

I agree about Dunne having speed, but agility is a bit of a problem. Still take him though.

Tbh i've got a funny feeling about this and i'm begging it happens imagine this:

    Forster
    Wilson Danny Dunne Izzy
    Ljungberg Brown Kayal McCourt
    Ireland
    Stokes

Surely that must make us champions:50:

If we replace Wilson with Juarez at right back, and possibly Rogne for Majstorovic, then I would be confident about winning the SPL title this year.

No offence but I reckon we have enough mediocre Irish players playing in our first team...

Murphy is the only one, unless you count McGinn. And Dunne is a great player.

In a nutshell, Dunne will be the best cb at parkhead since bobo by a country mile so cant see where the negativity is coming from!! Typical old fashioned cb that weve been crying out for. Some of us need to realise this, and complete horseshit by all those who say hes too slow. He's pretty quick for a cb!!

i think he would bring a bit of passion and determination we lack soooooo much. He is a solid centre half captain of villa for a few years i am sure.
wears his heart on his sleeve something we haven't had in years. if it was my choice and he was available he would be the priority signing. and anyone else you get is a bonus

Why don't we sign weir and get a few zimmers near the goals for reinforcements while we are at it maybe get gorum to guard em' while Walter empties his cathater?? The guy has been and gone now, defo not what we need. Jenny miller will kill him at the back.

Another comment from someone who knows very little about Richard Dunne. Miller will find it very difficult to score against him.
