    Stealing banners is an Ultras thing though, the Green Brigade stole an Ajax one at the Celtic Park game. I dont know what thats all about though, flag stealing - its like a primary school game.

    They might have been with them, might not have. Wouldnt brand them the same just because.

    Same as the Tims arrested in Amsterdam, were Celtic fans fighting with polis? aye, did bottles, cans, crates and stuff get lobbed at them and their vans? aye but it doesnt mean the ones caught actually done any of the fighting or tossing. So we shouldnt just accept them getting pulled out as some fans were fighting and lobbing stuff at them, when for all we know they could have just been battered and grabbed by polis after doing heehaw.

    Shouldnt blame people if you dont know for sure it was them.

    Ajax ultras somewhat redeeming themselves in my eyes. Alright I can't really forgive them trying to throw seats into our family section, but everything else they did was pretty much what you expect from a big European team with an Ultra following. No one was really insulted by the "* *" banner were they?

    I'm glad they've shown their support and if anything I feel sorry for them having to deal with the corrupt policing we saw in the dam all year round.

    De Amsterdamse politie had de 'uitdagende houding en het geweld' van de fans van de Schotse voetbalclub Celtic niet verwacht. Het geweld 'past ook niet bij de goede reputatie van deze supporters', staat in een rapport van de politie.

    De politie heeft onderzocht wat er precies is gebeurd rond de Champions Leaguewedstrijd van Ajax tegen Celtic op 6 november. Toen braken rellen uit op en rond de Dam. Er werden in totaal 45 mensen opgepakt, onder wie 28 Celtic-fans. De Schotse supporters klagen dat de Amsterdamse agenten te gewelddadig waren.
    Hit-and-run
    Volgens het rapport zaten de Celtic-fans op de wedstrijddag vooral op de Dam en de Ajacieden in het Wallengebied. De Ajax-fans maakten zich de hele dag schuldig aan snelle aanvallen op de Schotten. De politie noemt dat hit-and-run acties. Met de Celtic-aanhangers had de politie juist geen problemen, 'ondanks het excessieve alcoholgebruik'.
    De vlam sloeg in de pan toen drie Ajacieden een vlag van de Schotten stalen. Ze worden opgepakt, maar de Celtic-supporters keerden zich tegen de politie. Binnen enkele minuten kregen de agenten te maken met aan de ene kant 'de dreiging van de zoveelste hit-and-run actie van Ajacieden' en aan de andere kant met 'gericht zwaar geweld en de reële dreiging van een groepsgewijze aanval vanuit de Celtic-supporters'.
