    Disgraceful. Undercover police provoke Celtic fans and allow Ajax fans to attack them, Cellic fans get the jail and the polis get * compensation. Will not ever be goin back to Amsterdam.

    Shambles it come to this but it was nailed on the police would deflect and cover there arses and by doing so had to make an example of those nicked otherwise they were in the wrong ay..

    All due respect to our Dutch fans on here and everywhere else, I would be embarrassed to come from a country with a judicial system as corrupt and downright illogical as their's.

    Statements the judge made, made no sense. The system shifted right behind the Police, no attempt to dissect why the Police were stupidly plain-clothed given the previous evening's events.

    Shocking and embarrassing.

    We do however have many cases over here with similarly confusing judgments. Hopefully at the appeal it will get sorted out.

    I understand your emotions but 1) you've only got updates via twitter, not the whole story from the judge 2) the six agreed to this 'snelrecht' (fast right system) without witness testimonies 3) no judicial system is ever as good as it should be 4) can't comment on the Scottish judicial system but if i look to the UK as a whole i remember hillsborough fuckup.

    As i said earlier it's the mindstate of society in Holland but also in a lot of other places which don't doubt the police in cases against football fans.
