    decent article, 1 thing i would say is this - If Celtic are drawn to play Fejenoord this season or in coming years we will not see the same scenes in Rotterdam as Celtic/Feyenoord fans have decent close links. The cops in Rotterdam would/will not treat Celtic fans in the way the Amsterdam hit squads did.

    The police of Rotterdam and Arnhem have the baddest reputation..The police of Rotterdam did arrest 800(!!) feyenoord fans at Feyenoord-Ajax in 2006. Where most of them did leave without indictment. Including kids and older people. The police said it was a 'quiet day'

    Yes that is for an Ajax v Feyenoord match I'm pretty sure Celtic in Rotterdam would be different,I would not think we would meet the hostile reception like we witnessed during the week

    No mate, we have links to Feyenoord, fan links. It would not happen, i said 2 wks back we would get trouble in the games against Ajax, we dont have links and have had trouble every time we've been to Amsterdam. Rotterdam is very like Glasgow and totaly dif from Amsterdam.

    Ajax v Feyenoord is totally dif from Celtic v Feyenoord also.

    I think I will be blocked very soon because of this, but I'm from the Netherlands.
    My whole country laughed very hard because of the 'celtic hooligans'. In comparison with our ajax fans are you just some *. Just some non-courageous childs. Go * yourself celtic.     of course you wont be blocked ......... you are always welcome to come over to glasgow and discuss your points of view... i am sure the bhoys in the celtic pub will make you very welcome .... and hey, if you fancy flexing your muscles then there will always be someone willing to help you out with that too

    but it wont happen as you are too much of a * -- just a wee keyboard warrior --- the doors of the celtic pubs are are always open to opposition fans... if you want a pint we will buy first but if you want a fight then it will be you who starts it.
