Reports of Ajax fans causing bother

After reading this thread im not amused in the slightest

Its pretty disgusting treatment our fans got

I'm glad it amuses you. It doesn't amuse me in the slightest when Celtic fans are coming home beaten to a pulp and lucky to be alive because of Ajax hardmen supporters who are too scared to attack groups of tims, instead they prey on the weak. EXACTLY hunnish behaviour. The way Ajax supporters behaved in Glasgow and in their own city was disgusting and not many other teams supporters behave like that. They will now be seen as one of the scummiest set of fans I have ever had the displeasure of witnessing.

Vinny - your support (not suggesting it is all of them btw) have disgraced themselves over the two games.

They have attempted to cause destruction and harm in Glasgow, ripped apart our stadium and attempted to attack our fans.

And in Amsterdam, they have physically assaulted our fans, innocent members of YOUR public - as well as workers in the area in their attempts at hooligans and allround thuggery. Add into the fact that your police waded in with brutish behaviour reminiscent of what your Ajax-minded thugs brought to the occasion.

If your city was caught up in the stramash of our supporters defending themselves against scum, then i'm afraid that's what had to happen. Our support came over with the intention of having a good time whilst supporting our team - not being onvolved in mass brawls. mini riots and being attacked in pubs by masked hoodlems armed with knives, pick axe handles, and * umbrellas with swords attached to them!

I for one used to enjoy watching Ajax from time to time - have sported their shirt in the past and generally wished them all the best - but not now.

I hope we never meet them again.

Just seen a sunderland fan say this when they played them a couple of years ago 'Plain clothed plod managed to nick a few of our lot by pretending to be hoolies' seems like they tried the same thing with us, not the greatest tactic.

 

I'm just glad that undercover cop in the cream coat got a good doing!

You didn't. But I am surprised you are amused on this subject after so man TIms had the * beaten out of them and hospitalised. You are trying to make out Ajax supporters aren't that bad when what happened BOTH in Glasgow and Amsterdam speaks for itself. They are vile disgusting supporters akin to hunnish behaviour, attacking innocents then running away if there is any retaliation.

I am very surprised you are even trying to defend such a vile group of supporters.

Because it's not the kind of thing you'd normally expect to see from a celtic fan... I'm sure you'd see stuff like that on ever thread on hunmedia.
