He has been our second best player since January with only Maeda being better and I would argue our best the last month to 6 weeks.

He was a massive loss yesterday. He has been particularly good against Aberdeen in the games he has played this season too.

We really lack dynamism in midfield without Reo.
His passing opens defences for us at times and we don’t have a ball carrier in their who is going to beat players and open games up for us.
If we sell Reo it’s imperative that we replace him with someone with an engine who can also offer us a bit of steel in the middle of the park.

According to guy on KDS ( I know) Brendan has told the board that Hatate is the #1 player not to be sold.

CCV would personally be my no1.

In reality I'd want to keep him, Hatate and Maeda and then sell Kuhn.

Despite the latter's form, he's certainly the easiest looking on paper to replace.

Hes genuinly special. Even games he looks bad, his dodgy pass etc was still actually brilliant vision to see the potential of where it could go. Hope he stays.

I don't believe there is a shred of truth in that.

The way it was extremely obvious how much we missed him when he isn’t there, pretty much the only guy Rodgers gives the freedom to express himself on the pitch it wouldn’t surprise me, also think hr’s too experienced if a guy is pushing to move wants to leave to force him to stay.

    That very rarely helps

Even if he is having a shocker his awareness is huge to us, i think we can look very workman like at times without him in there. A creative midfielder is a priority for me ecen if he stays.

If he does stay one more year i want to see him absolutely bossing games like his level should.

Especially in the derby, always seems to pass him by

Honestly, I think he stays anyway purely because he's injured.

Reo Hatate is raring to go and ready for Celtic’s pre-season push.

Hatate finished last term using crutches on the Celtic Park pitch for Trophy Day having sustained a knee injury at Aberdeen.

The Japanese star’s issue kept him out of the Scottish Cup Final loss to the Reds, but, at that time of the setback, Rodgers cited a potential return for the pre-season campaign and that has come to fruition.

Rodgers confirmed Hatate is good to go as he said: “Yes. It was just a shame for him. I’d given him an extra few days, come back in and he’ll be fine.”

I wouldnt have expected us to start season 25/26 with Hatate still at the club, you get the impression from him he will not want another season in Scottish football. It will all depend who comes in for in, any EPL club and he will want away. Would be happy enough to keep him but like so many others he is notoriously inconsistent.

Likely the next big one we move on. Especially if an 8 figure bid comes in for him.

Moving him on and replacing him with a more physical box to box midfield wouldn't be the worst thing.

He's far too hot and cold. Has 1 good game every 3 or 4

We are a far worse team without him. The St Mirren game and cup final showed that

I think Hatate will be the next to go, his stock never will be higher, and he wants to prove himself at another level.

My guess is Nygren is his natural replacement.
