My first ever game was at ibrox against Hibs in the semi final cup replay in 1995.

It was my first ever experience of a live football match, having moved over to scotland from Asia.

Willie falconer put us 1-0 up, then big JC john collins lobbed (i think) the keeper from outside the box at the stroke of halftime.
hibs got one back, and then my hero, our hero Phil O'Donnell got the goal that sealed us in the final against Airdrie (i think) with a header.

i didnt know what to do when we scored the first time! i was 8, and watched the ball go in, and just sat there smiling whilst everyone around me was jumping up and down!! was so funny looking back on it, cos the next to goals i was definately the first person in the whole stadium out of my seat!

saw a 2-2 draw with Sporting Lisbon '96,
i remember cadete's debut (i think his debut) against aberdeen, when he sublimely lifted himself and the ball over the advancing keeper.
Big Pierre's ridiculous lob in the same game.

went to Celtic vs Roma when Andy Thom gave us a 1-0 win.

then the week after to Uefa cup match vs 1.FC Kosice, Cadete gave us the winner.

a 5-0 drubbing of Hibs, when McGinley opened the scoring (for us) with an O.G.

I remember getting (in the post) a signed card from Lisbon Lion Ronnie Simpson, addressed to me.
I remember (still about 8 or 9 years old) writing a letter from school to John Collins, obviously not expecting a reply, until in the post i got sent a photograph of him, again signed and addressed to me.

I remember being at school in england, catholic boarding school, being the only Celtic fan, yet having about 100 people watch the Seville game with me, each one as gutted as i was.

I remember having friends ( i live in england b.t.w.) come up to me, even today, and say because of my passion, because of what Celtic means to me, and to the other fans, that they are also now Celtic fans.
I remember this pre-season going to the Emirates cup with friends from uni, each one saying how incredible the Celtic support are, and how good spirited they were. swapping jerseys etc. etc. etc.

I remember most of all, being extremely proud of my football team, its supporters, and its history, and for most of the time, being extremely excited about what the future has to bring for my wonderful club.

    AMEN!
