[Cross Platform] Red Dead Redemption

You have to complete certain mission first

 

Finally got it today out of Tesco in Silverburn. 800 Microsoft points with it too which is a bonus.

 

I spent all of lastnight hunting on the great plains, then made an absolute fortune selling the stuff to the mexican towns. not much to spend it on after a while though certainly the best bit of escapism ive found in a game in a long while.

 

Been playing it for a couple of hours now and I can tell already I'll be on it for many many more hours in the next few months.

 

cracking ending at the end of game if you accept it thats is anyone done the i know you stranger side mission you shoot him in a cut scene and he doesnt die spooky seems to know you in it and gets you to do mission and asks you wether you will do the morally right thing or the morally bad thing is it devil or * am i wondering

 

maybe he's meant to be a mystery like the man with no name in High Plains Drifter where some think he was a ghost in it

 

finally got my hands on a copy, had to go to braehead tho, what ive played so far (about 20 mins) its extremely promising.

 

For those who have finished the game.

After you kill Dutch and go back to the ranch is it basically done ? Is it just ranch work from now on or does it take any more turns in the story ?

No do a few more jobs on the ranch and take care of a couple of sub missions and there is a twist. I won't spoil it for you[/SPOILER

As for the question on the stranger. It may have been influenced by this. Watch from 9 mins onwards. Maybe it was a person he killed when he was in the gang haunting him.

Aye. Like GTA in the old West. Also been influenced by the Man With No Name Eastwood character a bit the way you can shoot hats in the air and guns out of peoples hands

 

Not usually one for gaming offline but really got into this, would recommend the game to anyone. Don't be put off by the boring start to the game.

 

anyone know how to get to the great plains cause every route ive tried is blocked, or do you have to unlock it through the story

 

You unlock it by completing the Mexico missions.

You cant progress in the game with cheats on but you can wander around

 

ah right guessing the ending must take place up there , cheers bud

 

No bother. Tried it online and was garbage at it.
