Realisticly, who from our existing team are likely first picks next season?

As the title suggests, i'd like to know who everyone else thinks will be on the teamsheet next season from our existing squad:

I reckon Strach is looking at these 4 positions for major signing targets. Mind you, can anyone ever second guess him?

I think realistically Hinkel should not be in the team in the first place! Paul Caddis or Doumbe much more impressive in the Hoops!

5. Caldwell dont see him buying another centre half with any substance

I really hope Hartley is still in the team tho him and Robbo are our Heart imo

In all a very similar squad, but expect to see a new face up front and in midfield as well as at LB. Also, hopefully, we'll be seeing more of the young ones/recent signings this year, i.e. Caddis, O'Dea, Mizuno, Hutchinson

 

Only player i would change is naylor.

 

Would get rid of naylor, maybe a new DM. Hartly is gettin on a bit and everything else is fine unless we get a quality player in to replace

 

personnaly i think it would be an insult to hartley if he was dropped. i think if it wasnt for him and robbo coming in when they did and performing so well together we wouldnt have won ALL our remaining games to win the league

 

i would say all of the first team squad until we sign, we have a history of not strengthening positions that need strengthened.

 

The only way we should change our existing team is if wgs brings in players who are better than what we have got! only LB,CM,CF is what we need to bolster the side.

So that's CB, LB, CM and FW berths needing filled. I don't see Naka contributing so much this year and I reckon Brown or McCourt will be deployed out on the right. Mizuno might start to get into the first team too. Think we'll keep JVoH, but as an impact, like Samaras this past few months. We'll get a QUALITY LB in and Naylor will go, or remain as back-up.

 

cant see wgs bringing in any defenders tbh,o'dea is more than capable to replace the bombscare that is caldwell

 

The only one I would change is Naylor and McManus.

 

Have to lose Naylor, Hartley and def Jan. The big man just doesn't have the touch. The odd occasion he pulls it out of the bag. Granted those times have been * important but we need more consistancy from him or he's out the door in my books.

i would change both fullbacks and caldwell (regardless of how well his past 5 games were, all little too late in my opinion)

 

we need decent left back, decent centre half, top notch striker to partner skippy and maybe another centre mid or left mid.

First three should be priority unless holy goalie leaves

 

Only Naylor and Mick would lose their places for sure. We need to sign the replacements

However, its a squad game and IMO we needed another winger (McCourt?) and another CF to press what we have and rest the first picks
